Great food. I frequently order poke bowls from here during the work day. I love the order in advance feature and my order has always been ready when they said it would be. Delicious and fresh ingredients as well.

Update: the last time, I dined in. I ordered spicy tuna, she gave me regular. I showed her and she said they don’t have enough spicy tuna for my bowl even though I could see a bucket of spicy tuna in front of her. She said it wasn’t enough for my order. She could have at least given me the rest of that, and then added regular tuna for the rest. Or they could have taken time to make more spicy tuna. She took my bowl from me and pretended to cut up my tuna for five minutes and added the sauce. She told me I should have asked to make sure they had it in stock. That’s so illogical- when I order something the employee taking my order should confirm on their own if they have what I order. Or they should tell me when they realize they don’t. They shouldn’t just make my meal with what they assume is the next best option. This restaurant needs to refine their process because most of my experiences have been laughable.Employees are polite. Ingredients are high quality and fresh. However, they’ve always forgotten things in my bowl that I paid extra for, which I don’t realize until I get home. My $20 meal should have everything in it that I requested. The system would be better if I could select what I want in my bowl and see them put it in as we walk through.

The food, while the quality was nice was definitely lacking in quantity compared to the other place, nearby. The most pressing issue I had was: if there were changes compared to the listed prices, I should have been informed before I made payment. Their paper slips do not match their giant signs; and if there were any surcharges it would have been nice for the cashier to make sure I was okay with it before I was rung up.

The people who complain about this place are wrong. I thought it was good portion sizes, fresh ingredients and perfectly fine service for a downtown restaurant slinging poke during the lunch rush.

I ordered a spicy tuna bowel with rice, miso soup and a canned beverage. The preparation was quick. I received my bowel, however I forgot my soup and beverage. Due to my time crunch I couldn’t go back to get it. In total I paid about $25 which is a lot, I emailed them requesting a refund for the items I did not receive and never heard back. The bowel I had was very good.
High quality ingredients and fresh fish. My favorite poke stop in Houston!
