This is an excellent lKorean restaurant. We went there for our 60th year anniversary even tho it is a 2 hour drive. It is worth it, and we go about every 3 months. You can cook your meats on a grill at your table if you wish. Lots of fun & at your own pace. There is a separate room for larger groups. There is also a separate lunch menu until 3 pm. I highly recommend this place. If you're interested, there are 2 larger Oriental grocery stores with bakeries nearby named H-Mart and Ranch 99. I hope you enjoy these places as much as we do.

Food was pretty ordinary, we ordered bibimbap, spicy beef soup and soybean paste soup. All very traditional dishes, however the portion and quality of them were disappointing. One of the banchan bean spouts tasted sour and bad.
Service was really slow, took us a long while to get our check, and they gave all the white peoples table free dessert drink but not us (non Korean Asians) I wouldn’t come back.

We hosted our company Christmas dinner here, and unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. It seemed like there were only two waiters serving the entire restaurant, which contributed to the very slow service. For an event with 30 people, there should have been at least one dedicated server for our group.
It took over 30 minutes for anyone to take drink orders, and when the food started arriving, they brought the meat before the appetizers we had pre-ordered. I had to step in and stop them from putting the meat on the grill. At that point, we still hadn’t received any drink orders. When the appetizers arrived, they were cold, lacked flavor, and were very underseasoned—specifically the seafood pancakes and dumplings, which were disappointing.
As we were finishing the appetizers, they finally brought the meat, but still no drinks. Drinks started arriving only after we were nearly halfway through the grilled meat—this was after I had to personally go to the kitchen and bar to request them. Throughout the evening, the staff barely checked on us or offered to take more drink orders.
It was an embarrassing experience for us, as we wanted our party to have a great time, but that wasn’t the case. I would not recommend this place for large events, as you’ll end up having to manage things yourself.
It's one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Houston, and I have been here from 2008. Consistent quality of foods over years

Everything was okay except the restaurant was skimpy on the side dishes provided with the meal. The vegetable pancake did not have many varieties of vegetables, kind of bland tasting.

I've wanted to eat here for a long time and finally got the opportunity and they did not disappoint!
We ate here for lunch and started with fried pork and beef dumplings.
We ate off of the lunch menu and enjoyed the sliced Brisket, sliced marinated ribeye marinated boneless short ribs and spicy pork with rice, kimchi and other goodies. There was plenty of food and the flavor was right on target.
We look forward to dining here again.

The food was awesome, but the service was bad. We ordered a steamed egg, which took over 20 minutes to arrive. We finished our food and asked for the check, and when it came, we told the waiter that we never received the steamed egg. Suddenly, the egg came out, but when we asked to cancel it, the waiter said no. We then asked the manager to take the steamed egg off the bill, but the request was denied. For the price of $14.99, it felt unreasonable to lose a long-term customer over something so simple. This is why I’m giving the service and atmosphere 1 star. If I were the manager or owner, I would take the loss to retain a long-term customer.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Houston. I have great memories here and have went back so many times. When people ask where they should get Korean BBQ, this is where I tell them to go

Drove a long way to get to the restaurant, and it was 30 minutes till closing, and all they said was that the kitchen was closed. My response- then changing the time to closing at 9;30. They did not even offer for us to take out. Horrible service. I'm so glad I was able to eat Korean elsewhere. Korean Garden was a lot better!

The family and I love to eat here. The food and drinks are good. The only downside is their service. The servers take a long time to attend to us. We wait an average of 15 minutes to get our drink order.

First time eating legit Korean food.
You can cook your own Korean barbecue.
We left the cooking up to the experts.
The best kimchi I’ve ever had.
The best mulmandu (dumplings), too.
Everything — roasted eel (jahng-uh gui) and beef (bulgogi bibimbap) were delicious.
We also splurged on Korean rice wine (makgeolli) - which is served and drink in a very particular way. It tasted a bit like sake. Very enjoyable.
Very clean restaurant.
I love that there’s a doorbell that you can push at your own table for service.
Every single staff member was incredibly kind and polite, and willing to help us navigate our way through our meal.
Parking: Large lot.
Plenty of space.

We’ve been coming to Seoul Garden for as long as I can remember. I’ve always liked their food, but lately I noticed that the stews are consistent over-seasoned, and there’s some shrink-flation going on.
Last time we came we ordered BS5, the BbQ combo that comes with 4 types of meat, salad, and a choice of stew or steamed egg. The combo was 89.99, and the 4 meats came out on 2 regular plates and that was it!
I’m posting pictures for reference. We put 2 meats, the short ribs and chicken, on the grill together, and had no issues fitting them all on the grill. Like really? 4 pieces of chicken, and 8 pieces of ribs!
The wait staff at the place are usually nice and attentive. But this time around, towards the end of the meal, most people finished eating and were just sitting around chatting. I was still eating, and wanted to refill a couple of the banchans. I ran the bell 3 times and our wait person never came.
