Missed SGD since the Katy location closed so decided to visit the original location. Love their combos so we can get a variety of dishes and I always love a tofu soup. Also they have an item called Cold Bibimbap which we haven't seen at other places which we love as a light and cool entree. Bonchan (little sides) are varied and consistently tasty. Service was responsive and pleasant. The service call button helps get staff attention. We were frequent customers of the Katy location so I'm glad we can still get a taste close-ish to home.
Pretty packed as soon as they opened on a Saturday for lunch. Seating is booth style and fully sectioned off so you have full privacy to dine with your party. Ordered the dolsot beef bibimbap and seafood pajeon. The bibimbap was lacking in the beef portion but packed with a variety of vegetables. The hot stone was heated enough to get scorched rice at the bottom of the bowl. The pajeon was thick and packed with seafood. Came with a spicy sauce which wasn’t too spicy, more like a soy sauce. Overall side dishes and main dishes were slightly lacking in flavor.

Read the good reviews and went there today with my family without any expectations. We left with bellies full of really good Korean food. Restaurant feels like you’re in a Korean drama, complete with red buttons to call for service. Place is not so big, but very charming. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Service was fast and food was amazing! We highly recommend the entree combos (all of them), the cutlet, bibimbab, japchae, and the Jok Bal! Will definitely come here again! Would like to share more photos but we ate too fast to take them lol!

Soooo yummy — tons of seafood (even mini scallops!) in the mixed tofu soup, hearty chunks of meat, and plenty of vegetables. Side dishes are plentiful and delicious and home-made. Service is amazing, the ahjummas are so kind and I feel like I’m at my mom’s house whenever I come here:)

The green onion pancake was so delicious that I couldn't take a picture of the food because I was too busy eating it. Green onion pancakes are really delicious. I highly recommend it. Soft tofu, rib soup. I enjoyed the cold noodles so much. The owner was sorry for not taking care of me well even though there was a wait and the restaurant was busy. The food was all delicious and there was no lack of service. Have a prosperous business
This is the taste I had in Korea. The staff are also very friendly. In particular, the vegetable soft tofu has a lot of vegetables, and I highly recommend the stir-fried squid. Vegetable soft bean radish has excellent mushroom flavor.

I ordered vegetable soft tofu and stir-fried squid, which I always order, but the soft tofu came out with a few pieces of pumpkin and two onions in it, so where were the mushrooms? When I said that, I didn’t put any mushrooms in because they were all gone… I just ate soft tofu with two pieces of soft tofu and pumpkin in the soup, and I also ate stir-fried squid, which had a lot of broth and was sweet but not too spicy. If you don't have the ingredients, don't sell them that day... . They put soft tofu in water and called it soft tofu stew... I will never go again after seeing people who don't show any signs of regret.

If you visit Houston, I highly recommend you try this Korean restaurant. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and quick to accommodate customer requests. If you need more side dishes, they promptly bring them to you. It's a restaurant I'd recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Korean food while in Houston. Make sure to visit!

The food is delicious, but the service is bad. I went with friends to the longpoint location a week ago, and an older woman who served us quickly began rushing us to order. She then came back 5 minutes later and rushed us to order again in a rude tone, claiming it was because of the lunch rush (there were many empty tables at the time and we arrived right when the restaurant opened). After we ate and were paying, I was saying goodbye to my friends and she rudely told me to give her my receipt, interrupting my conversation with my friends. When we left there were still empty tables at the restaurant. It’s unfortunate because the food truly is delicious, but I won’t be returning where I was treated unkindly.
