Ordered through the app on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The power was out. Tried to get the order fulfilled today October 26, 2025. They did not have almost anything in stock which is fine. It’s not the store‘s fault however when we tried to get a refund after ordering online, a very rude representative said that there is no timeframe on a refund after requested multiple times I guess they don’t care about losing customers.

Been three times since it opened and all 3 times order wrong. Person couldn’t make change had to tell them the change I was to get back. How hard is it to tell a cake donut from a blueberry donut? This happened twice. I am now banned from the donut shop in Lumberton but no fear there a plenty of donut shops to get donuts from.

You just sold out to the state of California. You will no longer get my business!

Shipley at 8135 Katy Freeway has awful customer service. I went there on Saturday 6/14 and got an egg sausage and an apple fritter. The sandwich was okay but the fritter was hard and crunchy. You could tell it was overcooked. I had left heading back home in cypress when I discovered it. So I called and explained the situation to a very rude clerk who said she makes minimum wage and couldn’t do anything if I had bitten it. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me she was busy. I get fritters all the time at different Shipley but never have they been that hard. My ticket number was 715668

Is a bad franchise owner.. They do not make chocolate glazed donuts nor any chocolate fill donuts anymore. The owner was there listening did not seem to care. Even one of the employees ask me to report this location..

This morning I was treated horrible at one of your businesses in Humble Texas near Old Humble Road. I am an educator and I was told by the cashier, We don’t do that here! We don’t give out freebies to educators! I told her it was advertised on Fox News. She still said, we don’t do that here. I felt unappreciated as an educator and will not support a business that doesn’t support me. I plan to let my colleagues know about this. Horrible Customer Service!!!

Absolutely awful experience on Valentine’s Day. I took my spouse to the location on Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City. They were out of almost everything we wanted. What we got was stale, cold, and not edible. I requested a refund and got screamed at by the franchisee so I called the corporate office. They said they would escalate it for me every time I’ve called but I just made a fourth phone call with no resolution. I have now submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I want my money back. I encourage everyone to take a look at the Oklahoma City reviews and the reviews in general of Shipley’s donuts before they spend their money with them. I wish I would have because It’s page after page of terrible food. I’m obviously not the only one here. I’ll never understand why businesses make it so hard to make things right

The manager at Shipley's on W. Fuqua, Houston, TX 77047 was very rude. Because I few of us parked in front, he starting yelling when i was leaving to park somewhere else, he came outside still yelling and being very condescending. I asked to stop talking to me like a child & he just kept on. I just left & went someone else!! I will Never return!!

Today is Feb. 14,2025 it was my day to bring breakfast at work so I decided to visit the location 4701 Almeda Rd in Houston once I received my order I immediately was mad , first off my big order was placed separate in bags and my food was cold I ask why was my order placed in bags and not boxes and to be told because it was different Kolaches WOW , I ask for the manager and she was rude and said that is the warmest for now because they were busy she did not give me the option to wait for a fresh order and they were to busy to cut the kolaches in half, the manager and I spoke on the phone and had words back and forth in which I hung the phone up. I'm upset I had to go to work with cold food in bags, and cut the Kolaches myself and warm them up in the microwave. This is unexcepted all I wanted was hot food.

This is the best overall any other Shipley donut shop ever. I grew up on this location. Can't wait til u open up again. Love u guys. Hate that it's not the same crew though. Just pay them what they were making it's not like ur not going to make money cuz ur sittin on a gold mine

At 9:26am on 3/29/2024, I drove in the drive-thru and purchased two glaze donuts and two chocolate donuts, and they were very small, tasted stale,, and were dry. I immediately tried to return the donuts to get a refund; however, the lady in charge stated they could not give refunds until the manager got there at 1:00pm. I will be contacting the manager asap to get my refund. I’ll never go back to this Shipley’s at 2140 E. Pioneer Pkwy in Arlington, TX. I bought donuts from this same location last year and the donuts tasted horrible then.

PEAK ROCK CAPITOL! BYE BYE SHIPLEY! Yet another Houston tradition ruined by an investment group looking for profit without realizing what makes the product Savory and Delicious.Bought some IN-edible Kolaches and Glazed Donuts at the Yale location, $8 dollars in the trash, absolutely disgusting!!!Thinking Yale was still learning how do to it right, I traveled to the North Main location. In the 30 plus years living in the Heights N.Main Shipley has traditional had the best/freshest Kolaches and Donuts I've ever had, -NO LONGER, another $8 dollars in the trash.The recipe HAS BEEN messed with. WHY would you change a product that taste so good to something I will never put in my mouth again?... Bitter, under cooked, lacks the fluffiness NOT Delicious>>YUCKR.I.P. SHIPLEY, -WHATABURGER -STAR PIZZA
