The times I have gone I have had good experiences, the donuts were fresh and the kolaches were freshly added as well, perhaps the access to the place is not perfect due to the poor condition of the pavement with holes around it, that is a problem throughout Houston, streets in poor condition everywhere. Although the location is very close to the freeway and a main street, just the atmosphere around it, especially at night, is not very safe.

The food is worth the wait. Just wish they had a better waiting area, as we were standing outside waiting to get into the doorway. Their lox was excellent. Coffee was meh. Bagels are delicious and they're generous with their schmear.
