The sense of urgency is garbage. Usually on weekday mornings is when theyre really busy. Yet ive been in both drive thru and inside, and the workers seem to just move very slow. They dont care about their customers. Alot of people come before work to get breakfast or food for their coworkers, yet they take as long as possible chit chatting with one another. Food is great, but for the amount of employees you have inside, there's no reason for a 15 minute wait at the drive thru. 0 sense of urgency

This was my first time trying Shipley's donuts. I am a traveler and have been wanting to try Shipley's donuts and finally got a chance to yesterday and it was around 3 pm and I know the freshest donuts are going to be early morning...but I have to say that I was not impressed mainly with the freshness. I can tell when I bite into a donut that made that day and the ones I purchased were not possibly that days batch.

Get in and get out quick with hot fresh donuts and a smile. Great customer service. Fresh food. Great coffee and reasonable prices.
I placed an order online. Unfortunately, when something is out of stock, the system does not inform you. Upon arrival, I am told they have less than what I ordered. Okay, no problem. I'm fine with an acceptable trade. The lady helping me was okay. Unfortunately, the older lady next to the lady helping me chimed in in a very snappy manner said that they could only offer half a dozen donuts in exchange for the 3 kolaches. When you do the math on that, I, as the client, am losing money on an inconvenience that they put on me (because as a client, I worked within the tools that they provided).
From now on, I will have to visit further Shipley establishments as this one has left me with a bad taste.
