I live across the street at Woodlake Townhomes, last week Wednesday into store gave the attendant a $100 bill she asserted the bill wasn’t good I assured her it was that the Manager at Woodforest National Bank conducted the transaction. and that I needed to return the bill for verification, the manager of this location. was offensive when I said I was filing a police report she “I don’t cares”. A Captain from HPD informed any business retaining suspect currency is REQUIRED to have an agent inspect the bill at question the police department confirmed this DID. NOT OCCUR! I’m confident the manager of this store is committing fraud theft and if my stolen money is not returned I’ll take the appropriate legal action even if it’s Cuvil

I’ve been a loyal Shipley’s customer for over 15 years. I’m writing to express my disappointment with an experience I had today at your Westheimer location (Store FC5250).
Your official Shipley’s app prominently advertised the Duo Deal, any kolache and any donut for $4. However, when I ordered, the store refused to honor the advertised price. I’ve attached screenshots from the app as well as my receipt showing I was charged full price instead of the promotion.
This isn’t about the money, it’s about the principle. In today’s digital age, customers rely on a business’s official app for accurate pricing and promotions. When the store declines to honor what your own platform advertises, it becomes a form of false advertisement, intentional or not. It damages trust, especially for customers who have supported the brand for many years.
I’m not seeking compensation; I’m simply asking that this issue be taken seriously and addressed at the location so it doesn’t continue happening to other customers. A business should always stand behind what it advertises, especially in its own app.

Went through the drive-thru. First time ever trying Shipleys. I can say without any doubt I won't be back. Ordered two glazed donuts(pumpkin spice and a buttermilk) and what I asked to be a large drink. The drink came in a smaller paper cup(like a large coffee) and filled with ice. The amount of soda was less than a small can.
The donuts which my absolute surprise were very small.
Needless to say. It was only $6 and a $2 tip.
But, not worth it at all. Wish I had snapped a pic for this post but was over it very quickly.
Like I emphasized, this won't be a stop I'll be making ever again.

I stopped coming here about 8 months ago because the woman with the face mask was consistently rude. At that time, I had an unpleasant argument with her, which drove me away.
Today, I decided to give the place another chance around 4 PM because I was craving a kolache. Unfortunately, the same woman was there, and once again, she was rude and dismissive. I asked about the kolaches I clearly saw in a pan underneath, yet she insisted there were none. We went back and forth until she finally acknowledged them. How can a customer notice something your employee doesn’t?
It’s very disappointing to see someone like this representing your company. She makes customers feel unwelcome and creates a hostile experience. Houston has countless options for kolaches and donuts, including other Shipley locations and Kolache Factory just down the street. I don’t need this kind of treatment, and I won’t be returning.
Always Great!

Nice location and even though I went around the afternoon, they still had plenty of donuts to choose from! Just wish the cherry ice tasted more like cherry.

Shipley’s Donuts never disappoints! The customer service is always top-notch—everyone is so friendly and welcoming. While I do wish this location had a drive-thru, I actually love that it gives me a chance to chat with the amazing staff and enjoy the great atmosphere inside.
One of the highlights of my visits is meeting the talented pastry artists who create incredible donut designs. Last time, I got a beautifully crafted unicorn donut, and this time, I treated myself to a LARGE cream cheese Danish—absolutely delicious!
A quick tip: bring cash if you want to leave a well-deserved tip, as they don’t accept credit card tips. Highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat and a warm experience!
