Every Saturday morning I stop by and get a couple kolaches and a coffee. I bring my own coffee cup, and every week they charge me the refill price. Today a couple workers I have never seen insisted it only applies to Shipley’s branded mugs. There are four stores I go to regularly, and this is the only time someone has claimed this policy. Good way to lose business.

Wow, I don’t do reviews but the quality and taste of the donuts and kolaches is 10/10 i definitely recommend. So savory, flavorful and cheesy kolaches and the donuts so warm and soft to bite into. You can’t beat the taste I have no doubt their other items taste any different. Because my time is limited I couldn’t turn back for seconds on what I had for myself this morning. I will be back anytime I want Shirley’s 😅

This is the 4th time I’ve gone to buy “fresh” beignets and when I receive them, they are stale. The lady in charge says they throw the beignets out every 4 hours but that’s a LIE. The last time I went they gave me fresh beignets mixed with stale beignets. Don’t recommend buying the beignets here, I’ve learned my lesson and will go to the one on Dairy Ashford & Westheimer instead.

The girl serving had an attitude of God knows what. No hello no hi. As if i had intruded in their personal conversation … she was fine talking to fellow employees… when i asked 10 glazed and 2 non glazed she rolled her eye as if i made her work🤦🏻♂️ Management please pay attention.

So it's been a VERY VERY long time since I've enjoyed a donut; Shipley Do-Nuts normally the go to and well location is key, this day was Commons @ Mission Bend. In fact a single strawberry donut with sprinkles & this day (different crave) I added a cinnamon twist. Everyone who's had a donut 'SHOULD KNOW' what it looks like however I will drop a pic. Came in at closing, so Im sure service with a hurry up and select smile...lol was the mood. Didn't help another customer coming in behind me was face-timing selecting hahaha so yeah. The treated crave was as selected 'fresh', sweet & good. Ratings are on-point. Place looked clean to come back in another blue moon, check them out! Recommendation Strawberry Donut with Sprinkles & other selected recommendation.
Dietary restrictions: 1. If you're on a diet probably shouldn't go to a donut shop. Or just eat occasionally in moderation. 2. MOST baking includes eggs so keep that in mind, ask ahead of consumption or just AVOID a potential allergic reaction.....plenty of other safer treats. 3. Remember it's a donut shop its supposed to be yummy! lol
Parking: Its a donut shop, park buy eat quickly or just grab and go...so it's more than enough parking.

The éclairs have that "new" filling 🤮 (been a few years so not really new but not the old filling either) Not this store's fault, it's Shipley. They aren't what they used to be.

They have the best donuts ever however the kolaches are made with a HOT DOG inside. There are no SAUSAGES inside. The bread around them is excellent as well as all their donuts. I can't understand why they use hot dogs inside the great kolache bread. I guess it costs too much to use SAUSAGE. I still buy them but just not as many as before. Why not increase the price and put REAL SAUSAUGE inside?
