I ordered online via the Shipleys app for the specialty donut holes and chocolate milk for my son. I get to the store and they didn’t have donut holes at all nor chocolate milk. So I asked for a refund and the man working asked can I comeback tomorrow morning. I’m highly upset because how is this a donut shop that lacks donuts. He told me he cannot refund me because it was ordered online via the app.

They just don't listen its as simple as that comprehension is 0% went through drive through they messed up my order then I went inside to correct the issue and they got it wrong again smh I only ordered 4 items sheesh I spoke to two different people and nobody can understand

Messed up a huge order that was placed a day ahead of time. Did not inform the person picking up that half of the kolaches were missing and most of the donuts were wrong. The phone did not work to call and get a refund. Terrible experience. Use a different location, or just go somewhere better than Shipley's.

I have come to expect hot, glazed donuts from Shipley at 8:30 a.m. in the morning. What i got was iced cold, not very enjoyable donuts. The bold kolache however, was very good.

Feb 3, 2025 super weird day. Went to the location on Ardmore St and they were shut down. Drove to Almeda. The lady and her coworker who took my order were acting oddly. Immediately after ordering, service door shut. Private conversation. Then items were handed to me quickly and I was rushed away. They did not complete the order. And $17 for 2 small iced coffees and 6 glazed donuts semed a bit unreasonable. But since I didn't get to see the first receipt, I can't price check. 5 out of six donuts were still raw in the middle. The Kolaches were wrong too. Only good thing was the coffees

I can look past the fact that most of the employees don’t speak English. But when I find hair in my food that’s when I draw the line. Avoid this place
What makes this location good is the exceptional people who work there and the excellent service. Professional, personable and kind people are what I discovered. You might not expect that. I rated the food low because as far as what the market has to offer the donuts are as basic as donuts come and relatively too expensive. After experiencing better donut bakeries, shipleys is what I settle for as a last resort when I am out of options. shilpleys is never my first choice. Houston has better options. My problem with their donuts is almost everything is poor quality with a premium price. A medium 'coffee' with two iced donuts is $6.00. The low-grade tar-like, extra-bitter, burned 'coffee' is really bad as well and definately not worth anything except a bad aftertaste, dissapointment and disatisfaction.

It's sad when you order something and people think it's ok to send the wrong item with the right receipt. 29.00 for 6 glazed donuts when I ordered 6 jalapeno cheese kolaches. To top it off they turn the phone off because I would say of way too many people calling and complaining on the orders not filled right. I would not recommend this place to anyone ordering for delivery. Just horrible..
