Best dim sum inside the loop. And arguably in all of Houston. Xia Long Bao was best I’ve had in Houston. Very comparable to a recent visit to Din Tai Fung. Overall service and food and value is excellent. Will be back to try many other items on the menu ! Don’t miss the pandan butterfly pea tea and their house made chili oil !
We tried this restaurant as a couple to see if we would want to order carry out for a party. Our waiter was extremely helpful explaining dishes to us & recommending some choices. All the food was freshly & deliciously prepared.

Yes! It is the lobby of a Courtyard by Marriott. Marriott would be LUCKY to have SILK ROAD in all their hotels... probably would sell more rooms! Food was traditional and included imaginative and innovative touches. Stand outs were on their Lunar NY menu - fabulous. Traditions had slightly elevated gastronomic touches. It is loud, smells amazing and can have slow "bar" service - but we went with it. In what has become my regular "toast tab" eff ups... we saw...
