The food could have been better this time. I have been here many times, and usually i would give this Chinese buffet a full 5 stars. Just not this time. No mussels this time which are my favorite dish when I eat here! However, I had a good time and hope to go back again. The ice cream & baked salmon were good.

The food was very good and I have been coming here for years but there was this one waitress in particular who got mad when I didn't leave her a tip and I couldn't leave a tip because I am in fact on a tight budget. So she kept pressuring us about a tip and she kept eyeing us at the restaurant it was a asian lady with short brown hair and old. We even told her that we were on a tight budget and she continued to give us bad looks and stared at us so much in a bad way.

The exterior of the business may be deceivingly attractive, but let's get straight to the point – the food here is downright awful. Save yourself the trouble and money because this place is not worth a visit.During my first and last visit, I was met with stale, flavorless dishes that left much to be desired. It's clear that this establishment is far from its glory days and has seen a noticeable decline in quality.Having sampled various Chinese restaurants across Houston, I can confidently say that this one ranks at the bottom of the barrel.In summary, skip this place and opt for better dining options elsewhere.

Me and my kid used to be repeat customers here for a long time but after our last visit we won't ever return. They charged my 9yr old son as an adult and when I pointed it out to them they said "he too tall". Then they measured him on their wall and he was even below the "adult" line but the lady at the front said "see he close" and they refused to modify the bill to charge the correct amount. I told the girl working the cash register about what happened and she also refused to modify the bill. I stated that I was a long-time repeat customer and that my son is in no way an adult but their response was "it's the policy" So I guess the policy is if you're an arbitrary height, you pay a different price.Worst business strategy I've ever seen. Instead of doing the right thing and charging my son as a child (which he is), they insisted on cheating me out of $10 and lost a long-time customer. Great job Silver Palace.

The food is very good (although pay attention to the red shrimp, it tastes like it was made in butter oil)The service can improve. I went with my 2 (6-year-old) daughters and they were charged as Adults so I recommend that you look at their results, plus they added two more girls ? (Don't they know how to count?)The atmosphere is very comfortable and the rockers are good and if they serve you very well it is not their fault that those who write things down put in more than they should. Well this is my honest opinion

Staff is kind of rude they stand around and stare. Barely refill your drinks. The food gets left up on the bar even if it’s soggy or inedible.
This place is worth the price for a decent dinner??Vegetarian options: A few options to at least be fed and the desert section help aswell.??
