Their suya is so nice
Is this place still operational?
Their human relation is great.Thumb up
So disappointed. We drove an hour and a half from Conroe to come get some Kenyan food as in another couple that we met there at the same time who are driven in from Louisiana. It was really weird, no music and absolutely no one else was there someone came by and asked if we wanted a drink no menu and they only had three options chicken wings, suyo, or some shrimp. Again the whole thing just felt so weird and off and no one could give a very clear concise answer as to why there was no one there cooking and why they didn’t have the full menu. Incredibly frustrating after you’ve paid for childcare and driven so far out of your way. Definitely will not be wasting the time to come back here but so incredibly disappointed.
@simba_bar_grille is so unprofessional and have no sense of business management. Their servers are lazy and slow and the food is mediocre at best (when they have some). They only have 2 dishes to offer. I wouldnt recommend it. If you want lowsey service go to Simba!
It may have been a bad night, but we went for hookah only to find out that the designated hookah guy was not there. The full menu was not available and there were no physical copies of the menu to see what we could actually order. The drink offerings were slim but fine and there were only two food options. Then, when we got ready to pay we were told that they only accepted cash or cashapp. The restaurant may be better during the day, but this night it was not at its best.
Goat meat barbeque is delicious. Remodeled outdoor patio is also very pretty. It's a nice place to relax, enjoy great music, drinks, African food, wings and more
Nice cool vibe to it. Friendly Atmposhere!
Since my husband is from Kenya he wanted a taste of home. We drove here 7 hours for this experience. We were quite disappointed. No one greeted us when we walked in. We were just standing there while several staff members, scantily clad, walked passed us. I finally stopped one and asked for a table. Then she said “Let me know if you need anything else.†Umm, can I get a menu? Then we were told the only 2 East African choices on the small menu were not available. After talking
My credit card was fraudulently used at this location for $4,000. Something shady is happening at this restaurant.
Restaurantji Recommends
We went to this place and ordered meat and waited, one of the cooks told us the meat wasn't ready but if we wait, he was gonna make us fresh meat. 3 hours later a waiter comes out and tells us no one is cooking today. I don't understand why they would keep us waiting knowing very well that no one was cooking anything, the owner was just walking around, no one even cared to ask us if we have been served. Very poor service, I don't intend to go back. I do not recommend it.
We went here yesterday at 9pm and we were told they had no food reason being they had not gone shopping. We drove all the way from Conroe to support Kenyan business but were beyond shock when they told us they had not gone shopping so they didn't have any food.
Well laid back👌🇨🇲🇬🇷
Great food, great environment, great atmosphere.
Simba B&G, Houston is the best restaurant to visit for that African feel....You are Welcome!
