A vegan bakery located just 4 minutes from Houston Community College in Midtown, this spot offers both sweet and savory treats. Think kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, cheesecakes, muffins, pop-tarts, and more. They also double as a coffee bar, serving smoothies and specialty drinks. Inside, the vibe is retro with charming antique cookware on display.
Parking can be tricky, as there are only a few spaces available. On the allergy-friendly side, they avoid using cashews and pistachios...
Anyone who grew up in this part of Texas knows how nostalgic kolaches are. It reminds me of my childhood and I love that there are vegan versions at this storefront. The Texas kolaches was filled with sausage, delicious vegan cheese, and chopped jalapeños. I would say these are better quality than the ones I grew up with as the bread is good bakeshop bread. We also shared a Big Mac kolache which was phenomenal.

I can't say enough positive things about this place. It's a must go if you're in the area. We visited this morning for some breakfast sandwiches and left with so much more. Breakfast sandwiches hot the spot. The homemade biscuits were delicious and filling.
I tried the banana split cookie. It was the best.
The Everything Bar and Granola are my absolute favorite.
