Houston has been lacking a chinese breakfast spot! So exciting that this 6 ping is converting
Worst breakfast ever, overpriced and tastes terrible. The seasoning is weird, and the wait time is way too long.

A thoughtfully curated one-page menu in both Chinese and English makes ordering straightforward. Portions were extremely generous—the peanut rice soup and sweet tofu pudding could easily be shared among four. The food was delicious across the board, and the service was exceptionally quick. Despite the small space, the operation runs smoothly and efficiently. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

Drove all the way from Florida and discovered this gem. A truly authentic Taiwanese owned breakfast place with flavors from Taiwan. They are just newly opened so their menu isn’t very refined but contains the core of Taiwanese breakfast. The taste is also very high quality with them making it up to very high standards. Definitely above many that I’ve tasted in Taiwan.

Food is not hot at all. I am pretty sure they use instant beef noodle package. I had this place twice. I will never give another try.

Authentic Taiwanese breakfast! Reminds me of classic breaky places in this same Diho plaza decades ago, but with a modern look.
Some dishes are excellent (tofu pudding, zongzi, pan fried dumpling) some are decent (scallion pancake, fried dough) some I'm excited to try next time!

Six Ping Teamenjoin just opened in October 2025. This page was taken over from the Six Ping Bakery at Metropole Center. The bakery was the original location when it opened in the 80's.
The new Six Ping Teamenjoin serves Taiwanese style breakfast. I ordered a few of my childhood favorite items. They were authentic and delicious. I heard they will start serving lunch items after the official opening. The menu items are still changing. I'll come back again soon.

Decent Taiwanese breakfast place with various options. Pork braised rice was good for the price and portion. Sesame pork noodle was too mushy and lacked flavor and meat. The scallion pancake with fried donut lacked flavor. The soy milk was large portioned and acceptable. Probably the most off putting part was the sewage smell when you first walk in. Also didn’t help the waitress doesn’t speak Mandarin and couldn’t answer some basic questions about ingredients. She had to get the owner to help a few times (owner was extremely kind and helpful, I gotta say).
Giving them four stars because they’re just starting out. Husband thinks it’s more like 2.5 stars.

Legit Taiwanese breakfast. Same taste as what you would find on any street in Taipei.
The salty soybean soup brings fond memories of Taiwan. The stuffed radish flake cake is delicious. Finally, the Taiwanese onigiri rice ball is prepared correctly!

Encountered unprofessional and racist treatment from a cashier. It created a very awkward and negative atmosphere, especially with my younger brother witnessing the interaction.
Amazing! Authentic, fresh! Can't get enough😍😍😍😍
Price is reasonable and many old style snacks! Their birthday cake is larger and cheaper than some other stores. Flavor is nice and okay,
Nothing special about the baked goods here, and vastly inferior to other Asian bakeries I’ve been to. Selection was sparse. It was generally clean, so bare minimum expectations for the atmosphere. Service was borderline hostile and the lady was tapping her nails while my friend and I was looking around. It was very different when a white man came in to buy something. The lady was really friendly and wished him a happy new year. When he left, she was practically rushing us and got impatient. No reason to come back, I suggest literally any other bakery.
