Place needs to hurry up and shut down. Pricey for very poor sandwiches. Better off grabbing bag of chips and soda at corner store

Their quality is dropping every day and their prices are going up. They have old, dry, horrible bread. So many better sandwich places out their. This one has convenient location, but I'll walk a a little further for something better next time.

Visited for a business celebration. The set up at the 43rd is great for this given all the small rooms they have for dining that allow for easy, quiet conversation amongst your party. Service was prompt and friendly. All in attendance enjoyed their meals and dessert. Prices were in line with other finer dining establishments in downtown Houston.

I was excited with the view and thought the food would be equivalent. It was not. I was very surprised. The 3 clients were too. I would have to reconsider eating at your restaurant again unless the client demanded it.

The 43rd has an elegant atmosphere with beautiful views. Their attentive staff and delicious food ensure a good result every time. Overall experience was superb and made our special occasion even more special. I have held several evening events and luncheon here and they never fail to exceed my expectations.

TERRIBLE! And we left. Open Table should not advertise this resturant to the general public. Trying to do something different for our 20th anniversary thought it be cool to try pretty views top 43rd floor. We get there 1pm and no one was there. I walked around the corner and found this guy. He asked "Can I help you" like we're lost. I said we have a reservation and he said "go pick a table" There were like 5 tables in total with 2 taken. The best view was the air vents and a wall. I shared that we booked for special occasion. He said "it don't matter".The rudeness continues, he ask "what do we want to drink. The one page menu did not have drinks listed & it was dirty. This guy seemed to be the host, waiter, & chef. On his way back with water. I told him we're leaving as we are celebrating today. He apologized and we enjoyed our lunch elsewhere! Maybe this place is only for people working in that building? Come on, you guys must know there are to many other options in Houston. Get it right!

The 43rd Restaurant & Lounge is exactly that, perched on the 43rd floor of the Wedge tower. The building itself is highly accessible from all parts of downtown which is why it was chosen for a business lunch. Pros: Spectacular view, competent food and drink Cons: the decor looks a bit dated in the light of day and is a bit plain for the white linen dining experience.

There are few restaurants in Houston with a view at this height of the city. The food is not bad, the service is very good, and the ambiance is good. Unfortunately they only serve on weekdays during lunch hours. They have a patio that allows you to roam outside to get fresh air from the 43rd floor of the wedge tower. Parking can be done at the parking lot right next to the wedge tower. They offer validated parking so you do not have to worry about it. Overall I enjoyed this place and if I ever get a weekday off, I would not mind going here again.

lunch food was good we ordered the club sandwich and filet mignon both good I like how the restaurant makes a lot of its own food like sauces and chips. It's a classy place great view.

This was my first time dining at the 43rd and the view and the food was great. The gumbo is delicious as was the shrimp salad. We also got a semi-private table between the board room and main dinning area which was perfect for our group.

Tihs restaurant is a perfect spot for a business lunch. Great views of downtown Houston and quiret enough for converstion without having to yell to be heard. Pricing is surprisingly reasonalbe witha good selection of meals that work for a business lunch.

The view was a little less than I expected. The restaurant is sectioned off with the bar area being the best view. The dining section we had looked out at the bus stop and the 42nd floor where all the window washing equipment for the building is moored. The food was very good! And the service was the highlight. I would certainly recommend it but ask for a table in a different section than I had.

Food is delicious here, but the service sucks. The people who work here are rude and only talk to each other rather than focus on customer service.

My wife n I came here for an anniversary lunch, the view is great of the city. We had two glasses of Merlot which my wife really liked. The waiter gave us the chef 's special, which I believe was grilled salmon, mashed potatoes n asparagus. All very good n came out in timely manner. I read the reviews before going so I was nervous but this place is underrated, n needs more recognition. The only recommendation I would have is to adjust the hours to be open later and/or on the weekend, because I like to come and see tgr sunset from here while having a nice dinner sometimes. But besides that we loved it!
