Smoothie King

If I could give zero stars I would. This location has deteriorated very fast. I frequent this location often throughout the years but as of a few months ago it is on my do not return list. Where do I begin.

1. Different staff all of the time, high turnover.
2. Given the wrong order on more than one occasion. This is extremely dangerous as customers have various food allergies and giving the wrong drink to a customer could have irreversible and dangerous outcomes.
3. Poor quality smoothies. I typically go between 2 smoothie options and each drink has not had the correct taste and consistency. The smoothie is either watery, or has zero flavor. This has happened too many times to count. So much so, I visited them last month, ordered my type smoothie. It was disgusting! I let my daughter who was with me drink it, she said it was horrible. I drove to the Smoothie King on Wilson and Beltway 8, ordered the exact same smoothie, her face changed immediately! She said it was delicious.

As a result, I will drive an additional 4-5 minutes just to visit the Smoothie King on Beltway 8 & Wilson. Their smoothies are always correct, the taste is wonderful and so is the customer service.

If the franchise owner/manager is reading this, please do some quality control and make sure staff are trained appropriately and the smoothies are the original recipe. Thank you.

The workers were so slow. I normally don’t come here this was my first experience at this place and horrible smoothies were flavorless my bowl was not filled up to standards and melted entirely just looked a mess. Other places I’ve been to are way faster and have two people on the clock there was 3 today and they took 20 minutes making just two smoothies.

The employee that served me was very rude. They seemed to be working over one another as if he doesn’t know what he was doing. The worker over talked the customer while trying to input the requested order. He was also arrogant and unresponsive when I attempted to complete my order. He then stated that he was the owner which explained it all and opened my eyes to see why the environment was out of order. He clearly lacked the required customer relation and communication skills that keep all customers happy and returning. I give them 2 stars overall.

If you’re in the Houston area and craving a smoothie, Smoothie King is the spot! The crew is super chill, the smoothies are always on point, and there’s a ton of variety to pick from. Whether you’re looking to refuel after a workout or just want something tasty to cool off, this place never disappoints. Definitely a go-to for a refreshing treat!
