Brandon was incredibly attentive and personable, the service was amazing, the food was good, and the mocktails are delicious!

I really enjoyed my experience at SOL7. I would say that the menu seems to be a bit more summary with most items being Zesty/lemon centered. I would have loved to see the creativity having a winter seasonal menu overall the items that I did eat were really good. I did get the half chicken which has a bit of a spice to it and if you're spice sensitive, you might think it's spicy-I did not. I also tried the burrata dip, which was very zesty and refreshing. The mocktails were a bit sweet but refreshing and the view is amazing. I would recommend coming for brunch/dinner.

The service was extremely disappointing, especially given how slow it was. There were only two other tables occupied, yet we were seated and left waiting for about 10 minutes with only water. It also took an unusually long time for a baby seat to be brought out. We made a reservation for myself, my wife, and our newborn after hearing great things about this restaurant, but unfortunately we didn't even get the chance to try the food. Due to the lack of service, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere.

Food in buffet what was not supposed to be hot for example yogurt and desserts were hot. Eggs that were supposed to be warm were cold. Over all not a good Christmas Brunch experience.

Totally not worth while. The food spread was outside in a warm tent. The food presentation and quality was also very lackluster. Total waste of money. We were looking forward it but it was highly disappointing.

The food was excellent we had a great breakfast. The out door area needs improvement. The waiters were fabulous! Would definitely recommend.

The hostess was MIA and appeared after waiting for 5 minutes. Ambiance of a Starbucks not a serious restaurant. Very loud due to the nearby bar. The burger was super greasy and gave me stomach pain all night.

Great experience. Hostess and waiter both very helpful. Music was great. Will definitely return.

The inside was very small: outdoor was nice views but extremely windy: food was underwhelming

My wife and I came here for lunch to celebrate our anniversary, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The restaurant was beautiful—clean, comfortable, and with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a special day. Jennifer made our experience absolutely perfect. She was so kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel cared for. The weather was wonderful, the view was spectacular, and the food was delicious. Everything, from the setting to the service, came together to make our celebration truly unforgettable.

Definitely loved the vibes here. That had this cool robot from snapixevents here rolling around taking pictures of people lol. Loved the skyline

Cute place. Good cocktails and the food was pretty good. Its small and I wish there was music or something. We went around happy hour, so maybe they change it up later in the day. The view is great even though we sat inside due to the wind.

I chose Sol7 from its OpenTable reviews and great view of the Houston skyline as it was mine and my coworkers last evening in the area. We arrived to a beautiful high rise building; very excited to see this is where we would be dining, as we had drove past this building multiple times while traveling for work.

Parking was a bit challenging, but we found a spot relatively close in a self park lot.

We went up the restaurant and were greeted by the hostess who was shuffling back and forth helping the various customers arriving.

We were seated at probably the worse table in the outside seating area. When I noticed there were multiple tables open with an actual view (not behind a giant pillar), the hostess (Andre) said the only options were this table or inside tables. When I inquired about the open tables with a view, he proceeded to tell me those were “for guests that had specified a view table in their reservation”. Me, knowing I had specified such seating in my OpenTable reservation, started to pull my phone out and verbally said “yes, that is what I requested with my reservation.” Andre then replied to me stating “This is the table you will be dining at this evening!” in an unpleasant, sharp tone without giving me time to show him the reservation on OpenTable.

My colleague and I settled into our seats rather astounded by the treatment by Andre, we were greeted by our wonderful waiter, Nick, who took our drink and appetizer order. Nick had my colleague and I keep our menus, as we were not sure what entree we would be ordering yet.

A few minutes passed, my colleague and I had set our menus on the table, and Andre re-appeared at our table abruptly. I greeted him with the best smile I could muster up, and he asked “If we had been helped yet?” I responded with “Yes, Nick is taking care of us”.

Andre then asked “Have you been able to order?”

I responded, with “Yes, we have placed our order for drinks and appetizers.”

Andre then responded with “Well, are you done with your menus?”

I responded “No, we have not placed our order for our Entree yet.”

Visibly annoyed, in an aggressive and annoyed tone Andre responded with “Well that’s what I was asking!” and he stormed off.

Again, rather stunned, my colleague and I found this “hospitality” quite unpleasant and completely uncalled for.

Luckily, Nick reappeared a few moments later with our drink order and appetizers. We were able to place our order with Nick for our Entree’s and handed him back our menus (I hope that they made their way back to Andre…?)

On a positive note, I would highly recommend the “H-Town Tea”. Also the Salmon was delicious, perfectly cooked and flavored with the right amount of spices. There was also live music, which was a pleasant surprise.

It was very disappointing though to be treated in a poor manner by the hostess, Andre. I’m well aware that customer service jobs are exceedingly challenging, but to be aggressive and unpleasant to communicate with is totally unacceptable by staff that should be interested in making your dinning a positive experience.

Great food, wonderful waiter, but overall unpleasant experience due to the hostess “Andre” being unnecessarily rude and aggressive.
