As a Houstonian we’re pretty tough critics of fried chicken but I must say Chef Jabril knocked this one out the park. The mild wings were so fresh and uniquely seasoned to perfection without being salty. The mac and cheese was another hit for me with it creamy yet flavorful bite . Do yourself a favor and go try what will soon be the best fried chicken in Houston.

Not good as hyped up to be. Prices are high for the small selections offered. Burger patties taste like frozen ones. Mac and cheese was greasy. Ordered spicy wings and they had no kick and the fries plain with Cajun seasoning poured on.

We came here by accident for some sodas, omg the smell of the food had us locked in. We ordered a bowl of the loaded fries, we ate in the truck and had to order 2 more bowls to go. No joke. Love it here so much I can't wait to come back!

Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in Houston! Came here today for the first time and I must say the food was hot and fresh. Loved the flavor and season on the French fries as well. The Mac n cheese was a solid 8! I tried all of the sauces and the jerk chili was my favorite. Definitely will be returning!

The guy was very nice n respectable but the food was ok especially the fact it’s over priced the dirty rice taste was weird to me I actually tasted cinnamon in it n the Mac n cheese had no flavor but the chicken was good but not a whole wing at all for them high prices I was shocked when I looked in that little box seeing the portions

First time here, I’ve been watching on Instagram and decided to give it a try. The best thing about this place is the customer service. The chicken was crispy and tasted ok, don’t know why all the hype. The fries and Mac-n-Cheese was ok just almost taste the same. Why put the same seasoning on all items. They are definitely overpriced, but I’ll try almost anything once.

Chicken wings and sides are totally off the charts. I actually drove to this location twice, on the same day to get another meal. SJ is serving wings that are among the best top #5...EVER!! However, at some point they will have to move out of the gas station, I hear destiny calling. I highly recommend Southern Jerks, you will not be disappointed!!
