The donuts are good, consistent with the high standards and flavor Southern Maid is known for. The kolaches are good also. I liked the jalapeño boudain and the normal sausage and cheese. I also tried the longer beef sausage and cheese with jalapeño. It was okay but the style of sausage they use for that one isn't my favorite, it's a little harder and drier than the normal ones but some people like that style. This place rocks! This is a perfect stop when picking breakfast up for customers. Everything is fresh, made with care and great flavors! Love the selection and their apple fritter! It's breakfast for friends, make it count! KT.

Normally in the morning time I love a great kolache and donut got to this place there was 10 homeless people outside asking for money went inside didn't wait very long but the kolaches were not even warm the donuts were cold it's exactly the opposite of what they should be the kolaches they put some sort of sugar glaze on the top of them which is not a kolache it was okay at best did not have a great experience with this I love to eat breakfast I'm a fat guy did not necessarily...read full review
