Spanish Flowers used to be one of our favorites, but our three most recent experiences have caused us to “mark it off of our list.” Cheese enchiladas that spent so little time in the oven/broiler that the cheese on the inside was not melted. Rice and beans served at “room temperature”. Iced tea tasted as if the dispenser had not been cleaned in several days.
Servers on all 3 recent occasions acted as if they were bothered by our presence.
First time and it wont be last while visiting Houston
Prices are too high
Came for brunch, they gave little soups before we received our entrees and thought that was a nice touch, and sopapillas were sweet and came with honey to drizzle on top!
They’re open 24 hours on Saturday. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. They have great food and margaritas.
Little more upscale than in years past. Prices decent, though with most Heights establishments, they reflect the economic situation in that area.
We tried this place out in the woodlands by the mall and absolutely loved our experience! The waitress Laura was very friendly and offered great suggestions! The chicken fajitas were perfect. I originally got the mixed fajitas but i will say the beef was a tad bit tough for my liking. I’m used to fajitas cooked medium. Nevertheless, my experience was amazing. Will definitely come back !!
Love this place but today the DJ didn’t play what we wanted Lame AF 👎
Great Houston mainstay for Mexican food and drinks. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, multiple bars and Great food.
The food the service was awesome

Went again a few yrs later. Still 3 stars.
The food is just ok but the deal breaker is they get more money out of you because if some made up food tax and LBW tax... What is that? I compare these types of Tex Mex restaurants to papasitos and they are no where near as good. But they want to charge like them. $15 drinks really?
Went to this Spanish flower location with my parents to celebrate Mother’s Day. We didn’t have to wait for our table which was great. My mother and I ordered some margaritas and my father a beer. Placed our food order (menudos and enchiladas) and we never received it. We noticed that everyone around us have gotten their food but not us. Spoke to the server and the manager but nothing was made to compensate for our time waiting. Our server Maria Irelia A was very kind and understanding, but the LEAST we could get was either my mother’s drink comped or complementary appetizers to satisfy our hunger as we waited. Working in the hospitality industry, there are many ways to deal with this situation but this was not it. We completely understand that the kitchen may be overloaded with the orders coming in but it was just 3 of us with enchiladas being the most “complicated” order we placed. We enjoyed the margaritas but now we had to look for another place to eat. Very dissatisfied with our experience and management needs to do better.
Stingy with there food expensive for no reason
21$ for a torta crazy
Went today with family and the service was terrible. Asked for a taco salad with no beans no tomatoes. Got no lettuce with tomatoes
Sent back for lettuce and no tomatoes. That failed as well. Ended up eating the chicken. And nothing else. They also managed to not make my uncles order. Waited 15mins for that to be corrected
Waiter was clearly in over his head as he barely returned to check on us or verify that my uncle's meal arrived.
