Had a great experience at Spices 39! The Mongolian chicken was absolutely. You can really taste the quality and care in the food.
Shoutout to Tanja for the excellent service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole meal even better. Everything came out quickly and exactly how I ordered it.

4.5 stars, just because the prices are quite high. We've only ever ordered it to go so can't comment on service or atmosphere but they do tofu extremely well (I've tried kung pao and salt and pepper so far) and their lo mein is top tier. The only thing I didn't love was the fried rice. I also wish they offered more options with tofu as the protein

We have ordered Spice 39 to go so many times and can say the food is always delicious and consistent. We love this restaurant and would recommend almost every dish they have on the menu. Everything is yummy!
I ordered the black pepper chicken with fried rice. It wasn’t good. The fried rice was very bland. The black pepper chicken was just OK. I’m very disappointed with this food. Not a fan of the type of rice they use. Definitely was not worth 21.00. The customer service was good. Needless to say I won’t be going back.

Only ever ordered to go from here but I love it as much as mala Sichuan !
We tried to go to a busy restaurant nearby and found this one instead. It was quiet, quaint and absolutely delish! I will be back to try more items as we were impressed with everything. The hot and sour soup was my favorite as it was so flavorful! The crispy ribs were so perfect and tantilated my taste buds!! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you all!
Edit: 5 months later and it's still as awesome as the 1st time! General Tso's and the lo mein was delicious!

The water boiling fish is the best I’ve ever had, I also recommend the eggplant and green beans, as well as the Dan Dan noodles!

It would have been nice if they included the silverware soy sauce and such on our GrubHub order. They also forgot to include mustard sauce duck sauce for the egg rolls.

Unassuming spot from the outside. Ample dining area upstairs and a neat little bar area downstairs.
Great service with a menu that isn’t overwhelming.
Dumplings are highlight!

1st time here. Went after lunch. Ordered the lunch special. General Tso's Chicken was very good. Beef & broccoli a little too much garlic for me, but my friend loved it. Great staff, nice dining area, very clean. Fresh food. Note: to get to the dining area you have to walk up a flight of stairs. I would go back!

I ordered the orange chicken lunch special withe egg drop soup and ice tea. Soup was great! Crab puff on plate was fried beyond being edible, actually was totally burned, how could it even make it on the plate? Fried rice had ZERO flavor, no egg or anything that makes it fried rice. Chicken was way over cooked and dry and hard to even cut to chew. I'd advise not to eat here.

First time here at lunch today, I was only there for a to go order for my lunch hour. Waited less than 5 minutes after my order :) ! I wanted to walk around since there was a 2nd level (great vibes) , the person that took my order was so nice and answered my question, very polite ! Will be back this weekend for spicy item on menu ! 🤝🏻☺️
