Squabble is very unique and the dishes are extremely thoughtful! Each dish reminds you of a home cooked meal thats been deconstructed and elevated into something simply brilliant. While reminiscent, every dish is recommend to share at the table, making the family vibe even memorable.

Excellent place to eat. The chef's and cook really care about the food they put out.

We been waiting 30 minutes for the food and still nothing. Great place but service time is seriously awful. My guest finally got the order and I am here still waiting…. and waiting……. Chicken arrived and was laughable portion with skinny wings and one right. I sent it back and the bar tender in front of everybody boxed the food for herself! Epic. They just let you wait endlessly hoping you drink alcohol.

Near perfect setting for a culinary experienceAdd superb presentation to the share plates of well prepared cuisine. Sweet potato, corned duck, and baked oysters were a combo worth doing again. The pasta plate was a variety of seasonings and an unusual noodle shape I had not encountered before. A wonderful combination was deliciously created.

Favorite Houston spot for sure. Impeccable service, great atmosphere, well appointed Euro style menu. Shareable plates. Suggest 2 per person. Everything is super tasty, but the malfadine CANNOT be missed. Cocktails are delicious. Be sure to try a cocktail as well. I was pleasantly satisfied.Vegetarian options: There are a couple of options, but I wouldn't suggest this restaurant as modification of these dishes removes the concept of the dish.Dietary restrictions: Can work around dairy restrictions somewhat, but wouldn't recommend as all of the dishes contain dairy here.Parking: There is valet and street. Gets very busy in this area.Kid-friendliness: Wouldn't recommend for kids. Tight space, loud, little room for kid extras. Go for dates, couple dates, friends in small groups.Wheelchair accessibility: Tight, but can be accomplished.

I wouldn't say there was anything particularly ground breaking but there certainly wasn't anything disappointing. Service was good, plenty of attention from our waiter. We sat on the patio - and I had a seat over manhole, which was kind of odd. Try the tartar, very good. Could use a couple more dumplings per order. If you have the burger, go medium to medium well - the patty is very thick, so a medium-rare is closer to rare. Chicken is good to share.

Tried this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The food is delicious! The carbonara was amazing! The big chunks of bacon and creaminess made the dish! Definitely recommend trying it out.

Menu is relatively small. 2 entrees took more than 30min to be prepared and the restaurant wasn’t even full. The espresso martini shouldn’t be called like that - they have their own recipe, which is light colored brownish (?) and has almost no alcohol in it.The food itself was good - ribeye & lobster and the pasta with pork/duck ragu. But not a 5 star experience overall

Hamburgers are the size of sliders- they are not pictured appropriately . Not fabulous for take out- undercooked after specifically noting the meat temp. Not impressed !

We went at the suggestion of friends who love the restaurant and unfortunately we were not as impressed as they were. The food was overpriced for the portion sizes and service was rushed. Restaurant was packed and loud (not a cozy vibe). The servers were nice but they kept trying to remove plates with our uneaten food still on them. We also didn't have any utensils or silverware for the first half of the meal. When we asked about it, they told us to look under the table for a slide out drawer where we eventually found the utensils ( not sure why this wasn't mentioned at the start of the meal). The best thing we tried was the beef tartare starter. The caviar tater tots were like strange, small and soggy potato mini bricks and definitely not worth $50. We had to ask for the charred broccoli that we ordered originally and it arrived after we almost ate everything else. It was covered in such a heavy layer of Za'taar spice that it was like eating spoonfuls of dried spice. I don't get the hype about this place. ?‍♀️

This place had been on my list for months and finally went. It did not disappoint at all! The small shareable plates delighted us each time. From the mussels with calico beans to the charred broccoli with lime and za’atar to the buttered rice with oxtail sugo and finally the salmon with beurre blanc and grapes, it all rocked. The cocktails were amazing too. Our server was helpful, attentive and friendly. We will be back!
