This location is definitely a compliment to the original Norfolk house! The pizza is always delicious and unique in it's topping options.

Pizza had good flavor but took 45-50 minutes to come out.
Crust was still a little undercooked in the center.
Cake was dry and decent, wouldn’t buy it again.

I haven't been to STAR PIZZA since the early 2000s, but the location I went near downtown Houston Tx hasn't changed, but everything around it has.
WE ordered the STAR BURST Chicago deep dish and even though it took a bit to come out, it didn't disappoint.
The menu has many different types of ingredients and you can make your own pizza 🍕 your way as well as vegan ingredients.

Best pizza in all of Houston! Came here to celebrate my nephew winning his baseball championship game! Even though we came in 40 minutes before close, we had amazing service. A special thank you to who I believe was a manager, he personally handed my nephew 2 baseball cards. Talk about hospitality. Customer and fan for life! Keep up the great hospitality 👍🏻

The Chicago style pizza is the way to go. So very good!!!! And the sliced Italian sausage. Spectacular! Lovely service. The NY
Style pie wasn’t it at all. Sorta like better than average dominos.

I tried the Chicago-style deep dish a couple of years ago and enjoyed it, so I decided to come back and try the buffet for more variety. I’m glad I did—it was a great experience! The buffet includes pizza and unlimited soft-drink for $13.95. You can add a side salad for just $2 more. I think that’s a great value, especially since they also offer a dessert pizza. The one I saw looked like it had apples, nuts, and a rich dark drizzle, almost like a caramel or chocolate syrup. I didn't try it, I was just too full. I went right at 11:00 a.m. when they opened, but I’d recommend arriving around 11:30–noon instead, since that’s when they really start bringing out different types of pizza continuously. The only downside was that they didn’t list the names or styles of the pizzas as they came out, you just had to guess. Some were thin crust, some were tossed, and a few were deep dish. By the time I finished my second round, I was already too full to try more!
Overall, it’s definitely worth it. I just wish the buffet was offered more than twice a week (only on Tuesdays and Fridays). Still, I’ll definitely be going back sooner rather than later.

The food, service and atmosphere are all ok. Nothing was bad, but it also wasn't anything that I would recommend. Some may enjoy it, but I won't be returning.
***The mens restroom was terrible. Not only was it dirty, but the toilet shot water out when you flushed it.
