I believe that if I place an order and pay extra for something I should receive exactly what I ordered. If I am paying for a specific customization it is only fair that I get what I paid for. Not only did I not receive what I ordered but the customer service I experienced was extremely poor.

A simple refresher was made incorrectly on multiple levels and when I politely asked for clarification on why I did not receive what I paid for the response I got was shockingly rude. This is unacceptable from a chain of this size.

I strongly suggest focusing on properly training employees both in customer service and in making drinks correctly. Without either it makes me question why this location is even open for business.Ordered 11:32 AM 09/23/25

The barista that took my order and greeted me was incredibly sweet and kind. Would definitely drive out of my way to go back. My venti iced cinnamon dolce latte no whip, add cinnamon dolce cold foam was delicious 😋

Ordered Iced Green Tea Lemonade and Iced White Chocolate Mocha. Both were bad. WCM had no coffee it felt like and the GTL felt watered down. This location must be saving a ton with their ingredients. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I had some time to kill in downtown Houston but all the Starbucks I had been to last time were to go order only, no sitting area. I'm so glad I found this Starbucks with plenty of seating and super friendly baristas. I was able to get my work done while enjoying my coffee.

Starbucks has really gone to the bottom. There was a time when you could count on their consistency and quality. Those days are long gone. I waited for close to 30 minutes to receive my cold brew coffee because they were so busy taking drive-thru and mobile orders. When it arrived, there was zero coffee flavored to it. It was watered down milk and sugar. Absolutely disgusting, and was left sitting on the table as the decision was made to just go elsewhere and give up on Starbucks altogether. On a side note, go to Common Bond Bistro & Bakery just a couple blocks from this Starbucks. Way better everything: service, coffee, pastries & price.

I want to give a big shout-out to the amazing customer service and management team at Starbucks. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with friendly smiles and prompt, professional service that makes the whole experience enjoyable.

A special thank you to Brandon, who always makes my Venti iced espresso coffee perfectly, every single time. His consistency, attention to detail, and positive attitude truly make a difference. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows.

The establishment itself is always spotless — clean tables, well-maintained restrooms, and a tidy setup all around. It’s clear the team works hard to keep everything looking great, which makes it an even better place to relax or catch up on work.

And let’s not forget the music! The playlist is always on point — just the right vibe to help you unwind or stay motivated, depending on your mood.

Huge thanks again to everyone at the Starbucks on Richmond and Woodhead for creating such a welcoming, well-run space.

This Starbucks was very clean and new !
I'd definitely come back here again for a coffee. One of the baristas was very friendly but another made me feel like I was bothering him. They could brush up on customer service here. I've seen some other reviews about that. Starbucks should be a friendly place where customers are welcome !

Everytime I go to this location the service is slow and sub-par. I don’t even order at peak service hours and I have to wait an exorbitant amount of time for my items. They are slow and kept people waiting at the cashier without attention for a good while. Food and drinks are fine / standard as any Starbucks.

Just came from this Starbucks. Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t make reviews for places especially bad ones because I don’t think they normally make a significant impact on customer service improvement.
However, be advised the customer service at this Starbucks in Montrose is probably the worst I’ve received in a very long time. I travel all across the city everyday as a realtor, born and raised here in Houston so I understand the culture.
There’s a specific employee at the drive thru window who not only completely disregarded me and the person ordering in front of me but treated us in a disrespectful manner.
I just wanted an Americano. But when I ordered it at the speaker, she says “the who!??”
I’m sorry, I thought we were talking in regard to what drink I wanted to order. Not any other individuals as the only two relevant people in our conversation is her and I. I then asked if she had a darker roast. Further deepening her into confusion and frustration and so a young man took over the call and I ordered my regular black coffee with ease.
At the window, a word was not said to me. As a matter of fact, the words that came out of her mouth were being delivered on the phone with someone who is in the process of helping her move things out of her home. My coffee was handed and my card was processed and given back. Again, without any sort of acknowledgement or expression. Luckily she didn’t ask for a tip.
The older lady in front of me also received an attitude of frustration by the young lady at the window for no apparent reason. I believe she was scanning something because of her birthday today.
Anyways, Montrose residents beware the rude, incompetent attitude you may receive here. It is not welcoming at 5pm on a Sunday.

The lady there on drive tru was very rude.
The black smile lady named azbita or azibta. Couldn't read the name tag well. But I believe thar she had a bad day. She held my coffee back at the window instead of extending her hand, and I really couldn't reach her.I even asked if you had a bad day. She didn't respond. I believe she had a bad day, but if you work in the service industry, you are not supposed to bring your problems with you to your work. Never will be back. I used to go there every other day if they check but no more!
