I love this Starbucks. It’s in walking distance of a beautiful neighborhood, so you always see people strolling over with their kids, dogs, or morning coffee runs. There’s a real sense of community here a lot of regulars come in to work on their laptops, and it has that welcoming, familiar vibe that makes you want to stay awhile.
The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. They take their time to explain the menu, help customize your drink, and make you feel taken care of.
There’s no drive-thru at this location, but there’s plenty of parking and plenty of seating, both inside and outside. Drinks come out fast, and the environment is comfortable whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down to get work done.
One of my favorite Starbucks locations by far.

I work early mornings a lot of the time, so whenever I need a quick wake up coffee, I always come to this location. Amazing and friendly staff who get me my coffee as quick as their orders let them! Would like to shout out JJ specifically for always greeting me with a smile.

If you want the slowest service in Houston, come to the Woodway location. I’ve come here three times- and ALL three times, I swear the service gets slower and slower. Today, while one barista was working on someone else’s order, the other one, who saw me waiting said to me they’d be right with me. Fine, no problem. But while the one guy started working on the order he just took, the other one went over off to the side to chat with someone about The Weekend concert this weekend. The barista that was working had to tell her to come take my order. I thought the other two times were just flukes. Nope, it’s this place.
