Ahhhh what to say about this Starbucks. Well I can start with non attentive workers. Laziness pure laziness. I ordered a simple drink. Horchata with and Xtra shot of espresso. It comes with 3 automatically. I get my first cup. Take one sip and there is absolutely not even coffee inside of it. I go back to reorder the drink and they completely got it wrong again ! How difficult is making a drink with an Xtra shot? Totally confused on if my order was complicated or not. You be the judge ! I would absolutely stay clear of this Starbucks. If you want to over pay or get a headache then stop by ! I did order two sandwiches as well one is ham and swiss and the other was pesto chicken or something those were mildly warm. I didn't realize it was difficult pushing a button to make the microwave work. I'm not an avid Starbucks user and def after this experience I'll stay not buying their products. SUBPAR at best, but I know what coffee tastes like and whatever they were making over here was not coffee. I spent 40 good dollars to not even feel the caffeine in my drink. I wasted 2 dollars on added espresso just to be disappointed once again. How do you mess up the same drink twice in a row? These people really want to make more money but can't even do the job that they're paid for. Simple disappointment. Not worth your efforts. It has 3.5 stars for a reason.

It smells of coffee in the George R. Brown Convention Center, thanks to the Barista techniques from the most caring Starbucks ladies in town: Karla, Cayle G., Genesis, Jeanie, and also Alex, their loyal buddy. I only drop reviews to Starbucks when their team adds a personal touch to my order, and on this occasion, they delivered all of them. Starting by greeting you with a welcoming smile, inspiring you to order their best shot, followed by suggesting the new drinks on the menu, but because I like to keep it classic, I ordered my usual white chocolate cappuccino with cold foam and Karla caught my sweet spot by adding just the right of pumps, as well of cinamon. Also, by leveling the right amount of oat/almond milk.
Thanks Starbucks’ crew at the George R. Convention Center for keeping me warm and running through the business show I had to hold on three days.

We visited during the CeraWeek convention. There was a very long line for hours at a time. When we finally got to the register everyone was polite and professional. We had an order of 13 beverages. Despite an endless wave of customs and our large order, they serve us with a smile and respect! You could see everyone working as a team and getting order done at a record pace! Great job baristas!!

You can grab a quick bite here if the restaurants downstairs are full due to the event. There are also plenty of workstations in the front of this cafe if you need to catch up on work.

Worst customer service.First they say they're cashless and then their scanner doesn't work for QR codes?Also had long customer wait and rude and uninterested employees.For a convention center they should be used to dealing with volume customer orders with a good atttiude... guess not.#mrs.fernando was right

Horrible service: please don’t go there.1) service is super slow, waiting time is close to 1 hour (more than 6 employees were working and they still can’t get line moving) , I go to Starbucks in NY and no matter how crowded we never waited more than 15 minutes.2) Employees have very laid back casual attitudes and don’t care how big is the line + they just laughing and joking each other and take their sweet little time.3) This Starbucks loses so much business4) The drink is filled with 3/4 cup of ice and only 1/4 drinks (I ordered dragon coconut drink)It was 4 day World Series Robots competition where multiple countries attended and they need to change their laid back attitude and put a plan together to do better service (again if this was NY Starbucks they could do much better service). Management here please put your attention here and provide better service specifically when you are expecting 20% tips top of 1 hour wait.

We engaged in usual pleasantries which was fine. When I placed my beverage order (tall marble hot chocolate w/ oat milk). The lady at the register immediately stated, "Tall mocha. What else?" I restated my order. She does not repeat it and says the total which was seven dollars and change. I wait for my order to be called. My beverage is called by name only. I smell it and it has espresso in it. I ask the barista about it and she says, "Yeah". I inform her that my beverage should not have espresso in it, but don't get to finish it before she questions the register lady about it. The batista throws the drinks down the drain and moves along with other beverages. I made the mistake of stating that my beverage had oatmilk as she pours whole milk in the steaming pitcher because she says, "I know. I just put chocolate in your drink". I had no clue to what she was referring. Eventually she makes her way back to my order, which was still made incorrect. The whole experience took about 12 minutes, which made me late for my next stop (there were only 3 people before me and received their order way before mine along with others behind me).

Nothing but bad experiences in this so-called coffee shop will never ever go back again. Won't pay the exaggerated prices for something that doesn't even taste close to what it's supposed to be
