Everything was great until the new bartender basically boxed up our food super quick like he wanted us to leave. It was weird and off putting even my dinner pal was like I think he wants us to leave. It was 630 pm. Drinks and food were great but let a guy finish his steak.
We came to celebrate a milestone birthday and had an incredible evening. From the food, service (ask for Ronnie, he was absolutely wonderful), to the ambience, everything was great. We look forward to our next visit!

This is my favorite steakhouse in Houston! I am someone who looks a vibe place and great food. Steaks hit every time! And the sides are top tier: corn crème brulee, sweet potato mash, Mac and cheese, and broccoli! Perfect place for a birthday celebrations!
We were provided excellent service and had an overall wonderful experience. He was very knowledgable on the specials and menu and provided good recommendations. We had a large group for a business meal with 6 people being from the UK. They said this may be their favorite meal of all US and they travel often. Excellent food especially the seafood tower. We will be back.
Arrived a little early and was greeted and promptly shown to my table. The restaurant was nice, the staff was very attentive. They were excellent at suggesting items to try and offering suggestions on what would be better. My water glass was filled before I even had to ask and the crumbs on the table were removed. I started off with the crispy shrimp, it had nice flavor but could have used a little more salt. I then had the blackberry bourbon cocktail, it was not too sweet but not too strong. Flavors balanced nicely. My main course was the 18oz bone in filet with a side of au gratin potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly and the side was amazing. Dessert was delicious. I will certainly be back!

Steak 48 truly has the best steaks in the city. Their cuts are always perfectly seasoned, and the dry-aged ribeye is absolutely out of this world—rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. I've tried plenty of other highly rated steakhouses, but we always end up coming back to Steak 48 because the service, food, and ambience are consistently top-notch. One thing I really love is that they undercook the steaks and serve them with an extremely hot personal plate, so you can finish your steak to your exact preferred temperature. My meat is never undercooked or overcooked—it's always just perfect, exactly the way I like it. If you're looking for an incredible steak experience in Houston, Steak 48 is the place. Highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly and made me feel special for my birthday. The food was excellent. The cell phone connection was very poor inside. It was a bit loud where I had to ask the staff to repeat themselves. Angie and team was great. I'll be back!

Everything was great. When management walks around to ask customers how they are doing or how was everything, it is important that very customer matters.
My dining experience at Steak 48 was overall nice. The food was very good, and our waiter provided excellent service. The manager even came by to greet us, which I appreciated. However, the hostesses at the front were not very friendly—they came across with attitudes and didn't make us feel welcomed. I also couldn't help but notice that we were seated in the back of the restaurant by the windows, where it was dark and a bit chilly. It felt a little unsettling, and it's something I hope is improved in the future. Next time, I'll be requesting a seat in the middle of the restaurant.
