It was a great evening. Crab cake was exquisite, bread loaf was delectable and the wedge salad and Presidential New York strip was to die for. So sad to see the restaurant close for its last evening.
We were invited here by family members for a birthday celebration for my mom. The service was excellent and very friendly. I ordered the seafood trio that consisted of grilled shrimp, six ounces of salmon with a delicious sauce, and a huge crab cake. It also came with a side salad and a choice of vegetable - asparagus for me. I really enjoyed it. All the steak lovers enjoyed their meals as well. They brought out a complimentary dessert for my mom that they called a Texas cannonball...
We are so glad that we were able to have dinner at The Steamboat House Restaurant before it closes it's doors this Saturday. Our meal was wonderful and my favorite item was the Famous Texas Navy Crab Cake. It was perfectly seasoned and loaded with crab with a nice crispy texture on the outside. I have not had one so well made in a very long time. We met the sweet owners on the way out and enjoyed a short visit. Praying the best for them in their next venture together. Debbie...
