The service was excellent The food was delicious. Would definitely go again and recommend. The decor is super cute and girlie. Perfect for a bridal shower or girl event
The chicken and sausage triangioni was best dish Ive had in a long time. Chicken perfect cooked. The decor of previous restaurant was better this one has no booths. It was pretty empty by 9:15 and the staff was clearly trying to do their closing things and that shouldn't be so obvious to the customer. It was good but has some way to go to be a superior dining experience
We love this place it's beautiful it was a very nice surprise! It's a restaurant that invites you to stay we are going back soon! Plus a nice touch the owner was there and explain us about bottle prices, we enjoy a Taittinger Champagne with our lunch. He gave us two choices since my friend is diabetic and has to limit her sugar intake very knowledgeable and friendly staff!
There were only three customers in the restaurant when we were there, and yet the one waitress took forever to acknowledge us, bring our food, respond to our needs, etc. She seemed to be preoccupied by a table where two guys were dining and the conversation she was having with them. The food was OK but very overpriced. We were there from 6:30 to 8:30pm and left because they were turning off the lights in the restaurant while we were still there! I think that was a hint that they were all ready to go home. The kitchen was completely dark so we assumed the chef had left too when we walked out of the restaurant. I got the distinct feeling that we were supposed to lock the doors when we left the restaurant since the hostess was in the back somewhere and only came out when she heard us moving around in the dining area. She did walk us to the door with a warm smile and wished us a good night.
Excellent meal with excellent service in a beautiful setting. I found the prices fair as well.
Perfect for a business lunch or any lunch. Lovely environment. Waitress was appropriately attentive. Will definitely return for date night dinner.
Second time there, first time 2 months ago. Food preparation has gone downhill. The food looked better than it tasted. The rice served with the ahi tuna with sesame-hemp seed crust was too salty. The green beans with the seared Atlantic cod was really tough. The steelhead trout was covered with a gooseberry compote that was too much and too sweet. The chicken liver mousse appetizer needed more liver mousse, the pani puri contained a very small amount. The deviled eggs were just OK...the filling was not light and velvety creamy. What happened to the Parker House rolls? Unfortunately, there's no more next time for us at Succulent.
Food was okay but I've had better. Choices limited. We were expecting to valet park. No longer available. They need to take this off their website. While there was a $10 coupon for the garage parking it is a long walk and also a security issue, especially for women alone. We explained the problem to the server and she did not understand. I asked for a manager and they never came. If we had known no valet parking we would not have come. We will not be back.
Beautiful restaurant! Services was excellent. Food was outstanding. I had the Carrot Gnocchi with peas and it was so delicious. Rolls to start with crab artichoke dip which was served cold not hot but was also delicious. Then entrees with desserts. All so delicious. They haven't there long but worth a trip.
Restaurantji Recommends
The only qualm I have is that service was a bit slow consdering the time of day. Overall a wonderful experience.
Here's a review based on your feedback: ⸻ We had a fantastic dining experience! Anthony, our waiter, was outstanding—he provided excellent suggestions that really enhanced our meal. The food was absolutely wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. With such great service and delicious dishes, we'll definitely be returning soon! ⸻
I went there for lunch. The place was nice, the restaurant was empty, parking was difficult, and the food was pretty bad-very mediocre.
We had a LOVELY brunch on the upstairs patio. The waiter was great at recommending dishes and we tried the deviled eggs on his recommendation and they were amazing!! I loved my egg sandwich with the rosemary shaved ham. And the bagel with smoked salmon- outstanding. Thank you for a great place to enjoy food and friends. The patio was quieter than the dining room- but it also wasn't too crowded, so..... We will be back!!! Thanks!
The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other group dining. We specifically requested to be seated in an isolated area because someone in our party has hyperacusis (extreme sensitivity to loud noises). Despite this, we were seated in a less-than-ideal spot. My partner ordered a cocktail, which we had to request twice, and it still took over 10 minutes to arrive. The server appeared disengaged, as if they were having a bad day or didn't want to be there. The food took an unusually long time to come out, and when it finally did, one person's dish was missing. By the time the last plate arrived, two people in our party were already almost finished eating. The pork belly was mostly fat, and my Prime Teres Major & Frites was extremely disappointing since the fries were better than the steak. Overall, this was a total letdown. I go to the gym right across the street and now understand why this place is always empty.
