Sugar Rush is a newly revamped bakery with a great selection of sweets, including red velvet and chocolate cupcakes with brownies on top, and a delicious peach cobbler. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, it has unfortunately been the target of break-ins recently. Located in Houston's 3rd Ward, it is a must-visit black-owned bakery.
