Summer China Diner

We will not be coming back to this place. The food is overpriced for to go orders that are small portions. You get charged extra for fried rice with absolutely no flavor. The chicken was inedible, none of us could chew it. Service was good but the food was so bad that we will stay away.

This place is our go-to Friday night spot when I’m not in the mood to cook or clean. Usually order to go or sometimes dine in. The food is always delicious, my order’s always right, and the folks behind the counter are super friendly. Can’t go wrong!

I've been in Houston for 4 years and this is the first place that I've had good Chinese carryout. My favorite dish from here is the beef & broccoli

Super delicious as someone who has eaten real Chinese food I’d say this spot can be compared to the legit spots in Chinatown! I never liked shrimp fried rice in my life but I really liked it here, you can taste the quality. There is absolutely no fishiness in the shrimp at all (I can’t eat fishy food). The beef mushu is amazing, my favorite!!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I was highly disappointed in the experience today. I decided to try this place because I was in the area and wanted some fried rice.
The rice was bland and mushy, just basic steamed rice. The chicken had a really weird texture. I tasted this food that's all as you can see by the picture, spoke with the waiter and he asked if I wanted something else. Then he proceeded to say he would ask the manager first, came back to say the manager said no. I then asked to speak to the manager and he walked off. He avoided the table, no manager ever came out. I asked again for the manager and he says the manager is not there. They make no attempt to satisfy their customer. WILL NEVER VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. Save your money and find something better to eat. I had to pay for a plate full of uneaten food that was left there because IT'S NASTY! Do better.

Loved this place low key i was broke so I was able to eat comfortably for under 6 bucks and it was so good 100% recommend I will be coming back here soon
