When travelling on Christmas Day, it was hard to find any restaurant that was open, but by chance we found this place was open in the early afternoon. I imagined a buffet with mostly Asian meats and some sushi but it was that you sit at a table and order from the menu a-la-carte; mainly sushi but there are other offerings. Nigiri sushi was not bad but also not the best, but the specialty fusion rolls were a little more interesting. Also enjoyed small plates and appetizers such as beef ribs and yaki udon with shrimp. They also offer cocktails besides the AYCE offerings. Our server was friendly and made our visit fun. Nice atmosphere. Had not planned on coming here but we ended up having a good Christmas lunch here.
Buffet is totally worth it.

Food is pretty good and hot when it comes out. Some dishes ended up getting forgotten, but the waiter returns frequent enough that you can just order it again.
Dinner price is $34 now (not including drinks); dinner for two with tax and tip came to $86 -- I cannot recommend this place anymore due to the price.

This is my favorite sushi spot in Houston. The food is absolutely amazing. The Shaggy Dog Roll is the #1 roll for a reason. The Astro Roll is great too. The service is also amazing, shout out to Windee! She's great you should ask for her. The one unique thing about this place is definitely the playlist, idk who is in control but it's fire shout out to you too. Thanks Amy
Update: 12/18/25. It's still amazing if not better. Best experience yet. Will definitely come back
