One of my absolute favorite spots, I'm really going to miss it. The food is truly fantastic!

We don't prefer the new smaller menu Server was confused on difference between ribeye and tampiquena

Awesome food. You couldn’t go wrong with anything here - very sad it’s closing as that’s about the best mole I’ve ever had, and the flour tortillas and everything else are foodie/ homemade grade A.

Our second drinks order took about 20-30 minutes to arrive, well after we finished our meal - again, super delicious - but the very loud people next to us left and it wasn’t unbearable talking to each other over a post-dinner drink.

Place was busy as hell on a Friday night which is fine but the music was too loud and it seemed like everyone was yelling to be heard over it.

EDIT: It's been a month and I still have not received a response from the person who replied to my Google review.

Not bad!

Went with a buddy for a post-work girl dinner. I won't lie; the valet-only parking was an immediate ick for me. I don't even use valet at Michelin restaurants for special occasions, okay? Be so forreal. (I parked across the street- free for 2 hours).

Our team of servers was wonderful. Very prompt and attentive. We even got some complimentary drinks. The warm salsas with the chips were really good. Chips were warm and crispy, albeit just a tad thin. They didn't hold up well with the queso (and the queso itself was runnier than expected, so that says something). I had the salad. Although I requested the chicken added to be warmed, it arrived with the meat already mixed in, so not warm. I personally think the presentation is nicer with the protein on top, and I like to mix it up myself. Grilled chicken was not super flavorful, but maybe the fajita chicken is better. My friend got the chicken tacos and said they were good. I tasted the beans (my default Tex-Mex sides, mind you) that came with her plate, and...I tasted canned beans. The intimidating dollop of cheese could not mask the unmistakeable canned taste, and I was too disappointed to take more than 4 bites. Bummer.

Maybe I'd return to try the fajitas, but in a city with such top-notch Tex Mex, Superica is not currently a competitor in my opinion. Grateful for a nice evening with a good friend, and a wonderful service experience, though!

Wasn't really happy about table assignment and then placed near small children when there was plenty of other open spaces. Understand zoning for wait staff but we were one after another placed next to each other and in a bar section. Didn't think it was ideal for a young kid to be in that area.

The chicken mole was insane. Good service for being so busy. It was packed and loud and we had to wait ~20 minutes for our reserved table because they were so busy after announcing their closing

They use high quality ingredients but the flavor is just not quite there. Steak fajitas were cooked well, they have a wood-fired taste, but slightly tough, and sparse in seasoning. I also don’t know why they can’t get the corn tortillas right. They stick together and the break because they are not adequately warmed/cooked. Kind of a shame because the corn tortillas have a great taste. Salsas could use a kick and some salt.

Margaritas were good with simple ingredients. No fillers or syrups. Good service.
