I travel for work, and often have trouble finding excellent Indian food in the cities I visit throughout the country. Thankfully, I didn't run into that problem in Houston!Surya is the place to go for flavorful, thoughtfully prepared Indian cuisine in an upscale yet comfortable environment. I've started every meal here with the delicious vegetable samosas, which feature a delicate, flaky pastry and a perfectly spiced filling of potatoes and peas. I'm totally addicted...
Wonderful experience!I wouldn’t normally leave a review for a delivery order, but felt an exception was due. Every single dish we ordered was amazing, portions were plentiful, and tastefully prepared. Compared to the more “well known” & more expensive establishments in Houston Surya is absolutely a must try top competitor!
In a non descript strip mall, this beautiful restaurant serves the best Indian food in Houston. While Aga's is good for grilling, this restaurant is the best for curries . We started with cauliflower fries, the batter was perfect. The shrimp mangalorian is to die for. It lingers in your taste buds the way an amazing story lingers in your mind.
