This place is a gem! It is small yet super homey. Reminds me of small homey Japanese restaurants/bars we used to go to growing up in Taiwan. Service is great and the people chat with their customers about random stuff like a friend would. I see them doing that we several customers each time I'm here and thought that is the neatest thing a restaurant could offer in this time in age. Will keep coming here!

This is a great little hole in the wall Japanese place. I got the Pork Katsu Bento box, Miso Soup, and an Iced Green Tea. I went around lunchtime. With tip I paid around $18. Pros: The food didn't make me sick, so points for that. I didn't feel crowded despite all the tables being full. The service was spectacular. My drink was attended to, the food brought out within a reasonable time, and utensils provided without being asked. The food itself was solid. The Miso Soup made me do my "happy delicious" face. I heard people speak very highly of the sushi they were eating, so take that for whatever it means to you. Cons: The pork was a little overdone, but that's an easy fix, and your experience may vary. Everything else was cooked properly and delicious. Miscellaneous: Parking is a bit difficult at this location, but that's not really Sushiyo's fault. There's more parking behind the building. Overall I liked the place. I'd go again.

Sushiyo is one of my favorite restaurant.I always enjoy their food especially sushi & sashimi. The fish always fresh !!!I would recommend you the Tuna Tataki if you are tuna lover.Also, their shrimp tempura and udon are one of the best I ever had.Thank you very much ^^

The outside and surrounding area may throw you off. It doesn't give you the "ooo that place looks good let's try it" kind of vibe. However, the saying "don't judge a book by its cover" really stands here. The inside is super clean and cute. The staff is super friendly and caring. The food is delicious, and reasonably priced! It's such an all around great place, that it's our new favorite spot anytime we want sushi.

this spot is a cute lil thing tucked into the corner of a strip. the night we went it was just the chef and his wife so service was a little slow but the quality of the sushi and the service itself was worth it. every single bite was delicious and flavorful. the owner was so very friendly and polite. absolutely loved it and will be coming back

I decided to give this place a chance for lunch break and it did not disappoint. Very affordable while still maintaining the freshness of the sushi. I'm not sure if the guy was the owner or the chef but he ran the show all by himself providing great service from refilling my soup, ginger, etc. I would def go back!

Found a gem for sushi in this area! The sushi is so fresh and everything is reasonably priced. I'm pretty picky with my rolls but haven't had a bad one yet. Their spicy tuna roll is on point! They have good lunch specials. The owner and waiters are always very friendly and attentive. Owner greets you and makes sure everything is to your liking. Definitely recommend to try this place out!

Me and my friend have been coming here every saturday for the past few months just because we love it here. We've become regulars to the point where they gave us a gift this holiday season. They know our order already but still come to the table just in case we want anything different. The outside of the restaurant doesn't do it justice. It's really cute inside and it is cozy. They always have music or the news on their TV and if you want a specific channel you want to watch, and if they have it available, they'll change it to your request. The service is amazing and prices in my opinion are reasonable and justified. I really do think that you get your money's worth here. I always get the same order every week but my friend changes it up every few times we visit and she says she's always satisfied and happy with what she ordered. I will be honest though. There is two unfortunate things about this place that I think should be noted if you want to try this place. There is not much space to park in the front of the building but there's more than enough space behind the building. It's not a long walk to annoy you but it's just a fact that there if there's no parking space up front. Another thing that I really wish they had is a soda fountain. They only have cans and bottles when it comes to water and sodas so refills aren't really a thing here unfortunately. I don't really rate places unless I really love it or really hate it so that speaks volumes. I still give this place a 5 star only because I really enjoy this place every weekend and everyone is so nice. If you are looking for sushi or Japanese food, I really suggest you try this place.

Wow, wow, wow. Super amazing place. Food of the hook tasty and fresh. I first was hesitant to try this place but after seeing the pics on Google, i had to try them. So I did and it surely did NOT disappoint. Helpful gentleman helped me with some items that I was not familiar with and the other gentleman (the owner/cook) came out to say hello. I was greeted right away when I stepped in with a warm welcome. Amazing place, amazing people that run this place.?????? I will be a forever consumer here!!!!
