She did my wedding cake for an April 6 wedding and the cake was incredible and experience was incredible. She was very well organized and communicative and professional, and the taste and look of the cake was INCREDIBLE. so happy, would continue coming back forever!!!!

Susie was so sweet and helped us pick the design for our wedding cake. She has lots of ideas if you aren’t sure what you want. Not only was our cake beautiful and delicious on our wedding, it was just as good a year later. Today is my husband and my first anniversary. Of course we saved some of the top tier for tradition sake. We were so nervous to eat it since everyone says how terrible it is but we were pleasantly surprised, it was DELICIOUS. Just as good as the day we got married, maybe a smidge drier but we ate the whole thing and enjoyed it. If you are looking for an amazing baker Susie is the lady you want making your cake!

The red velvet cake in the grooms cake was our favorite! *The flowers on the wedding cake were styled by Blooming Gallery in conjunction with Susie.

If you have a wedding or event coming up, I’d def give Susie’s Cakes a try! They handle everything with white glove service, and Susie is very kind and sweet and made all the tough decisions easier. When you step in, there are cake designs everywhere so it’s a very inspiring environment to walk into. I got to try cake samples and all of them were delicious!

Susie is amazing! Our tasting was delicious--and the cake on the actual day was just the same! She is so sweet and fun to work with. I sent her images of inspiration for the wedding cake and she did a great job combining all of my desires. She made an amazing groom's cake too. I was surprised on the day of that it wasn't the color we had discussed, but she did so in order to make parts of the design identical to what we had sent her. Unfortunately, this meant fondant, which we did not want, but the inside still tasted great. I didn't want a single piece thrown out--we ate it all night, all week, and I can't wait to have our top tier next year!

Susie's Cakes are gorgeous. This vendor was included with our venue package and we were very excited to work with her. Her cakes taste amazing. With Covid restrictions in place we were able to still communicate virtually to help plan for our big day. We chose 2 types of cake: carrot cake option that has pineapples in it and thought it tasted great and the almond with strawberry preserves. Both options tasted great. We would highly recommend Susie's Cake and Confections for your special event.
