We stopped by Taco Fuego on Val Verde and were excited to try it — and overall, the food hit the spot.

We got their empanada, which was crispy and packed with flavor. The flauta was just as good — crunchy on the outside and savory on the inside. We also ordered two quesadillas, one steak and one chicken. Unfortunately, they gave us two chicken by mistake, and we didn’t realize until we were already out of Houston. That was a bit of a letdown since we were...

I would appreciate if they put someone on the counter who understands English more i asked them to cook the meat medium rare they always cook it well done I have used google translator to show them but now I think they are just over cooking it to spite me

Food truck stop so a lot of selections but Taco Fuego is what we chose.The tacos were really flavorful and good. Had some of my boyfriend’s fuego fries with steak and they were delicious with a bit of spice. I had the birria tacos combo. The consome even had flavor to it too which I was actually delighted about! I am so use to consome with no flavor or such a light flavor that you can only taste the oil in it. But this was page is definitely flavorful and a must try.
