The birria tacos here are fireeee. They already have such a blast of flavor that you don’t even need the consome but helloooo you gotta get the consome. It is so concentrated and insane like wow.

Good food, but the quesadilla is small for $13 only 3 small slices.

Honestly, I’m giving this taco place a full 5 stars even though it is definitely on the pricey side. I knew The Post wasn’t exactly known for budget food, but I wasn’t expecting my order to hit $35 for just two items. I got the nachos and the flautas, and yeah… it made my wallet flinch a little. But once I actually tasted everything, I understood why people hype this place up so much.

First, let’s talk about the service and speed. I swear I didn’t even wait 10 minutes. The Post can get super busy, especially during lunch and weekends, so I was expecting a long wait, but nope! they had my food ready fast, hot, and looking amazing. I honestly appreciated that more than I expected because when you’re hungry and surrounded by 20 different food options, waiting can be torture.

Now for the best part: the flavors. When I say everything was seasoned perfectly, I mean it. Both the nachos and the flautas came loaded with toppings, sauces, and all the little details that make food feel like it was made with real care. The nachos weren’t skimpy, they had layers, not just everything dumped on top. The cheese, the meat, the sauce… everything blended together so well. And the flautas? Super crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the toppings added so much flavor that I didn’t even need extra sauce (even though they give you some and it’s delicious)

Yes, the price is high. Like, I felt it. But compared to other food stalls at The Post, it’s honestly pretty normal, and at least with Taco Fuego you get quality, freshness, and actual flavor, not just overpriced bland food like some places there

The staff was also really friendly, even with how fast-paced the environment is. They didn’t rush me, answered my questions, and made sure everything looked right before handing me my order. Little things like that really do make a difference

Next time I go, I’m definitely trying their birria tacos 🌮. I’ve seen so many people online talk about them, and after tasting what they can do with nachos and flautas, I already know they’re going to be amazing!

So yeah 5 stars, worth the splurge, and I’ll absolutely be back!
