I’d been craving a good burrito for a while and found one! Didn’t take long to get my order and it was great. I ate half of my burrito in the car. Paired with the red salsa and a coke. 👌🏾

I discovered this restaurant by looking at online reviews. It’s now become one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in town. Great authentic food and salsas!
The sign should have warned me off. It was damaged during a hurricane and the owner does not care enough to fix it. No one welcomed us when we walked in. It took a while for someone to decide to give us menus. We ordered a beer and perused the menu. The really odd thing about the place was that the lights were totally off in the kitchen, yet there were three people working there. My brother ordered three pork t@cos and enjoyed them. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and a chicken quesadilla. I was served a chicken soft taco and a shrimp soft taco. You cannot make a quesadilla with one flour tortilla shell. The shrimp were RAW. I would say he gave them ten seconds on the grill. Of course, the cook did not know they were raw because the lights were OFF! Apologies were made and accepted. They subbed another chicken taco and we left. There are many taco restaurants in my part of town to choose from. Now there is one less.
Usually I have a really good experience when Don the owner is working. However, during my most recent visit the new guy running the truck at the Shell location was extremely rude and rushed my order. I had to return it and get a refund. Was a loyal customer but won’t be going there anymore.

Small local spot with good tacos. The tacos are small so order several. We tried chicken, steak and pork. We only had onions and cilantro on the tacos since other toppings were an additional cost. Personally, I liked the chicken taco the best. Indoor or outdoor seating but keep in mind the establishment is small.
No sure how this could be rated so highly as food was not very good. Only serve tiny tacos and tiny quesidillas. Little dive with about 6 tables.

If you are a fan of taco trucks Don Julian’s is well worth the drive. The flavors are rich and intense; the quality is consistent across the menu. Chicharron. Pastor. Nopales. You will want to come back.
Food is awesome ?, Service was good and bilingual .. I was ???? happy. I found my taco truck...?????????

I don't understand why this place always gets such great reviews. The staff is very nice and professional ( that's why they get 2 stars) but the food is awful. I ordered a beef taco, a chicken taco and a sausage taco. All were dry and flavorless, in fact they all tasted the same. Go to Molcajetes a few blocks north on Bayshore. That place is truly fantastic.
Our family loves places like this, small and cozy family owned and authentic. No tex-mex here. Soft tacos or quesadillas are the main menu items with a good variety of meats. We thought the steak and chicken ones were the best. Service was great even though they were very busy. Family friendly value as their prices are good. Parking can be tight, so anticipate that when you go. Husband says we will come back again. Yes, it is that good.
Very good, flavorful, but simple tacos! Amazing salsas as well (habañero, chipotle, and tomatillo were all served). Highly recommend the head taco (beef cheek). My family loved the steak tacos and pork quesadillas as well as the pico de gallo. I could tell how homemade everything was — even found a bay leaf! Sister says it’s the best lunch she’s had in years!
