3.5 stars - Tacos la Sultana is worth checking out. They heap on the meat and the service is friendly. Don't expect a fine dining atmosphere. I would say that it is a safe place to visit. The two times I have gone there were mostly families there. My best experience was going on the weekend. If I go back I will ask them not to use so much oil on the tortillas.
Parking: Some limited parking on the side of the building. A few spots to park on the street. It was not a busy street.

They made us wait an hour just to tell us they ran out of trompo. They knew about 20 min into us waiting but let us wait an entire hour before telling us directly.
This is a food truck location; it has a covered patio with tables & Spanish music 🎵 🎶 playing . My food, carne asada street tacos on corn tortillas shells was tasty. The taco meat itself did not taste like salt or much of any seasoning was added to it. However, the tacos did come with a bag of seasonings i.e: lime wedges, red/green salsa, sauteed onions/new potatoes. After adding the sauces, and flavorful onions to the tacos, they were perfect! I also had an order of charros beans, which were delicious 😋! The business accepts cash and Zelle only, no credit cards. The workers are always nice and super courteous.
FYI, There are cats hanging around the patio.

The cashiers are not very friendly
They seem angry and I didn't even want to ask why they were upset.

I really liked the steak tacos, they didn't taste like the typical “Mexican” tacos they sell in Htx that then taste like gringo tacos, these were different! The charro beans 10/10, the trompo beans are not my favorites, I give them a 7/10, everything was delicious, the sauces were delicious, especially the spicy green ones, and apart from that, the place is very clean, they serve quickly, they also give roasted onions.

The food here is extremely greasy. I tried to tacos and the tortas and found it to be way too greasy and not much flavor.

I Ordered Trompo Tacos, Trompo Burger, & Trompo Torta! Every thing was loaded with Trompo meat and decent price for the amount of food. All i have to say is the Trompo meat is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Compared to other places it is rich there.
Good & cheap rich
Best Trompo in Houston. Literally the best. Prices match quality. Authentic Mexican sodas are available. I enjoy the Gringas de Maíz (Trompo and Cheese on a corn tortilla) The Volcanes Trompo (avocado, cheese, and trompo on between two crispy shells), and the Trompo taco. Their grilled onions are great. Salsas are both tasty.

The best Trompo I’ve ever had. I keep going back to this place because the food is so incredible. Also the portions are huge and the prices are incredible. I highly recommend trying the Papas Asadas or the Quesadillas.
