Predictably, Houston’s vast Tex-Mex offerings would paralyze anyone with the slightest case of indecisiveness. Luckily, there’s one taco truck whose prices, flavors, menu items, and location (right across West Alabama Ice House’s walkable side street) remain reassuringly consistent. If you’re looking to customize your tortilla toppings, look elsewhere. But if you want to satisfy that highly-specific craving for greasy, marinated meat wrapped in a pliant corn mini-shell...
Too many onions on my taco. Beef was seasoned perfectly. The chicken quesadilla left a lot to be desired. For a food truck, it was pretty good. Thank God they accepted tap as I left my cash at home.
These tacos should be given a James Beard award, amazing. The price is right, and you can go directly across the street to the Icehouse to eat them with a drink. Special applause for the barbacoa, but everything here is great.
