My wife and I ate here on 2/25/2023. We arrived around 7 PM and were seated immediately. Chips and salsa arrived promptly. David was our waiter and he was very knowledgeable about the menu items and how things were prepared. The food came quickly and was hot. This place has been around for years and is still very good and reasonably priced!

We used to go here all the time before we moved over 5 years ago. You couldn’t get in on a Friday night. So I was expecting a wait on this Friday but no, walked in was seated immediately. Food and service was great as always. Tried to order more drinks and were told they closed at 8:30. Really? On a Friday night? Must be how the demographics of the neighborhood have changed.

Don Jose's has been in the neighborhood for years and never fails to satisfy. I generally judge Tex-Mex based on their enchiladas and theirs are always good. When I eat in person, the service is always excellent. When I call in a to-go order it's always ready as promised and packaged to ensure that it's piping hot when I get home.
