Westheimer Tan Tan Restaurant - Closed!

First time but not my last. The food was great service was efficient and prompt. Quaint little place. I will learn to use chopsticks like a pro yet! Lol

Stopped in for lunch since we were in the neighborhood and it was delicious!! I will go again when I’m over on that side of town

I've been to quite a few chinese restaurants but, Tan Tan's dishes, speak for itself. Every dish I ordered made my pallet soooo excited. I looked forward with glee for my next dish. Trust me when I say. "You will not be disappointed with any dish ordered. We had a pleasant and lengthy conversation with the owner. Great place.

My rating is based on take out alone, I have never dined in. The food is always great.

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Houston, my son enjoys the house special fry rice, my wife likes flat noodle with broccoli. The rice cake is also e extraordinary. The menu is very wide... On week days they have lunch menu. It is great!

Great lunch specials and import beers. I've been twice and both dishes I've had were tasty

The food was good, service was good and friendly. Would give this 4 stars except we had a spoon that was dirty (dried food stuck to it) and the waiter took it from my table when I asked for a new one and PUT IT ON ANOTHER TABLE instead of taking it back to the dish area.

Great place to bring a large family and or friends, the staff was full of smiles and the food was well prepared. Short wait times for the entrees and extensive food options bring a friend and bring your appetite!

Excellent food. Recommended by a friend who lives by and I found my new go to when in Houston. You will not be disappointed in the food or price.

Excellent House Special Fried Rice ! I've lived up the street for a decade and for some reason I thought this place was a buffet. I'm not a buffet person so I never considered Tan Tan. My girlfriend owed me a dinner so she suggested Tan Tan. We ordered the special fried rice, sweet & sour shrimp, and the Peking Duck with noodles. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and the portions were satisfying. It's definitionally not cheap eats and that's the reason it has $$ on Google. For that reason alone I won't give them 5 stars.

Honestly, probably one of my favorite Asian restaurants in Houston. The Peking duck is great! My go to meal. I hate that the menu is so overloaded, but that's kinda like any Asian food restaurant so that's a minor gripe. Expensive. Not in a fancy steak house sense. Expensive for a normal night out to an Asian restaurant sense. But it's worth it.

Amazing service and food. Come here for date night once a month. Love it.
