What sets this restaurant apart is that you can carry on a civil conversation during the meal without yelling. That will suffice to bring many people in, but the food will keep them there. I admit to having a favorite lunch dish there, but I occasionally explore and I have never been disappointed. This place merits the attention of every civilized Houstonian.

great place for chinese/vietnamese cuisine. Our gotos are the rice cake, tan tan three flavor rice, c** chien bo luc lac (french fried rice with shaking beef) and salt&pepper wings, yes, they make great chkn wings there - probably some of the best in town.

I've been to quite a few chinese restaurants but, Tan Tan's dishes, speak for itself. Every dish I ordered made my pallet soooo excited. I looked forward with glee for my next dish. Trust me when I say. "You will not be disappointed with any dish ordered. We had a pleasant and lengthy conversation with the owner. Great place.

Went here the other day for lunch and I have been here several times. I remember going to the original location in bellaire like 15 years ago and it was great! Anyway I ordered Vietnamese egg rolls and combination pho. The egg rolls, not that good, I've had better. The pho was alright, nothing to brag about. The issues I had was that they brought out the hoisin and siracha sauce in a small dipping plate. I asked for more and I can tell the waitress was not happy about that. In other pho places, they leave the sauces on the table. On the other hand, the hot and sour soup is really tasty.

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Houston, my son enjoys the house special fry rice, my wife likes flat noodle with broccoli. The rice cake is also e extraordinary. The menu is very wide... On week days they have lunch menu. It is great!
