After ordering a pick-up order, the food had a metal wire from a scrub brush about a quarter of an inch long. After calling to ask for a manager, I was hung up on twice. After driving in person to the location, I was refused the contact information for their insurance company to file a claim for a visit to the hospital for an x-ray to ensure my girlfriend had not ingested any other metal.I was told by staff that if anyone calls asking to contact a manager to not give any information out, and if they call back to hang up on them.I will be contacting the health department tomorrow.Check your food if you eat here carefully.

Loved the various options for boba. Got mine with mini tapioca which I've never seen at a Boba place and it was delicious and better than regular sized tapioca.

After ordering, I waited for a long time. Staff continued to use their cell phones. They didn't want to cook for us and my tip was thrown in the water. The waiting time was very long and the taste was not good.

This place is a classic of Houston Chinatown. They have been around a while and you can't even tell cause they actually spent some dollars to update the place. We got the spicy chicken nuggets combo and the braised pork rice combo. Both were good, I think the spicy chicken nuggets has a nice crisp and spicy coating which is very authentically Taiwanese. The braised pork rice is a bit on the sweet side. For $11 dollars a combo, you get food and a drink, which is a pretty good deal!

Service was quick, the place was pretty empty but their strawberry milk tea was really good and their boba was soft not chewy or hard like some places. Will be coming

I I ordered a combo (food and drink) and while the food was great, I was not given a drink.

Located in the same plaza as Hokkaido. I've studied here a few times. Although, it's not an ideal place to study because it can crowded as people are coming in but most end up leaving. So, it's not too bad. There's plenty of tables and comfy chairs for a good study session. Just avoid sitting by the door. They have outlet by most tables.I usually get a mango tea which is pretty okay. However, lately my favorite drink has been their rose milk tea. I love the smell and the bits of roses on the bottom is so sweet. I also tried their popcorn chicken bento box. Their rice is a bit soggy. It comes with green beans, bean sprouts, and an egg. I think I prefer their snacks such as squid balls and plain popcorn chicken. One thing about this place is that their prices are relatively cheap.

The best boba tea and chicken nuggets! We're from Taiwan ??, I personally think they make better boba tea and fried chicken nuggets than most places in Taiwan and definitely the best in the US (including the ones in LA and San Fran). We've been eating here since 2004 and it's still as consistently good as ever. Legit Taiwanese Boba Milk Tea Fyi, this is no longer related to the Tap House in Austin and Dallas (both of those are horrible).

No point in ordering ahead because they don't make your drink till you arrive. Disappointing.

Great milktea flavor and very nice chewiness of boba! Love the sugar “marinated” boba in their brown sugar milk tea. It is not too sweet!
