The "Caldo de Res" is pretty authentic if you like the stews. Don't forget to ask for the special "salsas" the red roasted was my favorite.

Monterrey-style Me I can food. It is slightly above average. A number of different tostadas, quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas, tort as and burgers. A few soups and salads as well. Nothing fancy, either in the food or the decor. We had the entomatadas (corn tortillas bathed in tomato sauce, topped with quest fresco, and served with beans, rice and salad), and the chicken flautas. Very good. Prices are low, but service is often slow.

Soul train and music videos playing on tv. Waitresses all in black and white maid type uniforms. Ordered the Pirata plate. Two flour tacos filled with beef steak, avocado, cheese and grilled onions served with sides of rice and beans. Chips and three different salsas brought out. Smoked, verde and mild. I preferred the smoke and hot!

Visited this place for the first time and it was good, not great. The flavor was good but could have been a bit stronger and more authentic. The place was packed and turned out a lot of food. We did enjoy he warm salsas and chips. The servers were friendly and worked hard keeping up with the empty plates and cleaning under the tables. It is more Mex than Tex (which I Love) and a lot of native clientele showed me it must be pretty good.
