The food doesn't work there. Last night I went and ordered a fajita dish and practically the meat was all burnt. The dish came with tomato rice and sebolla and chili but there was nothing there. The food has no flavor and the chipz charge you if you ask for more and napkins. You have to be ordering because there is very bad service at the table and the food does not work, it will be bad service for the cooks and waitresses.

I grew up loving this location unfortunately I had some not so pleasant food experience it started with a hair on my Gordita de chicharon. It happens I get it. Then breakfast prices when up which is perfectly fine economy is terrible right now but that does not explain the portion being less 🤔 if prices go up shouldn't the portion stay the same? I hope to go back and things change for the better not worst

What can I say... Taqueria Arandas, especially #14 in Houston, I loved the food, the attention of all the staff, super fast and friendly, the waitresses are pure Hispanic people, very hardworking, I just want to tell the owner of this restaurant that he has very good staff , keep it, in general all the dishes are very tasty!!! It exceeded my expectations!!!

9/25/25 - Great Service but we came in today and were never served any chips or salsa, so that was a bummer. I thought maybe they had stopped until I read other reviews. I had the tacos al carbon and they were well seasoned the rice was very good and the charro beans hit the spot for me (I am not one who likes all the weiners in my charros). But for almost $16 these tacos really needed some guacamole and crema and they would have been better for that price. All in all still a good meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and we will return.

The manager basically said that she would rather keep the $15 for a plate than retain the business of 8 people. My parents come often and I come from time to time to celebrate birthdays, etc. with the family. Instead of taking away the dish we didn't like, he said it was better not to tip the waitress. He didn't give the worst service but not the best either. He never came back to ask how we liked the food. It would have come out later after my husband didn't like the dish. He likes soy but the wires were medium rare and the flavor with everything just wasn't something he liked. The manager prefers to lose clients over 15 dollars to protect the business... I have been a GM in restaurants and a waitress, bartender for many years. She did not handle our comments well and instead of resolving the matter in a cordial manner, she fought and turned against us even though we explained the failures of the service. For example, they did not give small plates with the appetizer. I ordered small plates with another waitress because I couldn't find our waitress and they never brought them. We ate with hand and napkins. The food took a long time and they didn't explain why. There are two kitchens, the manager explained later what happened. OK that's fine. He never went to see how the food turned out, if we liked it or not. We wanted more water but he didn't come back with us. I came back at the end to say that we did want a to-go box and only then did she know that we wanted a to-go order as well. Well, our waitress didn't have a bad attitude but she didn't serve us like her other tables. He often passed by with a lady at another table but not with us. He was kind to take a photo of us at the beginning when we arrived. We celebrated my dad's birthday. But everything that happened didn't sit well with me. The manager said that it was only the waitress's responsibility to provide good service, that she doesn't deserve a tip so it hurts her. That's not fair either. Customer service has to do especially with the managers and the entire restaurant in general. That's what the industry is all about. Customer service and providing a good product. It's not about money, it's about principles. In the end she discounted the dish but after talking to her so much.

Don't go eat here. They will not be able to eat in peace because the security cameras are useless and crime is high. They may break into your vehicles or even steal your vehicle while you are eating. Be careful, it happened to me and my family.

The place was nice and clean loved the atmosphere got attended right away they brought chips and salsa and drinks to the table quickly the staff was nice and helpful and made me feel at home food was delicious I would recommend #7 they have nicely seasoned meat and the aguas frescas seemed fresh and refreshing I would definitely be back
