I attended a get together, after a funeral, at Taqueria Arandas No. 12 on the Gulf Freeway. We were seated in a private room and everything was amazing. The waitstaff was very attentive, polite, and immediately took care of any requests. The variety of food was delicious. The servers kept the serving line moving, very little waiting.

This is a good place for a quick Mexican food stop. They have some great options and I love the tacos on homemade tortillas (flour or corn) it get served at a good price. Its clean and staff is attentive.

Although the food is what I crave, the drinks are always questionable. Natural drinks are more like powdered drinks with extra sugar to mask it is not real. I love their yellow rice!! Ranchero beans are okay. Chips and salsa are also good! We ordered coffee to erase the distasteful prior drinks, but one of the coffee cups had a fresh pink lipstick on it, it matched the hostess's lip color. So immediately I pointed it out and she said she will be right back. I told her to...
