Saw the pics of the trompo online and it looked like the old pastor tacos I used to get in TJ back in the day. Sad to say, what I got was not even close their OG pics. Tasted ok, the roasted potatoe slice was a nice touch.Guy was very nice, make sure you speak Spanish or bring someone just in case. Not too far from the Tesla chargers/behind Rudy's.I'll have to try one of their other locations.
If you're looking for authentic mexican tacos this is the place. I absolutely love El Trompo loco, this is the 3rd location I've tried and my favorite so far. And I can say, as someone who used to live in Mexico, these are one of the best trompo tacos in Houston! I'll be coming back very soon!
I only tried their quesadillas and they’re pretty good taste wise and they’re big quesadilla is actually really big. The only reason why I’m giving them 3 stars is because for $8 they only give you the quesadilla and a small thing of salsa no dab of sour cream or avocado or anything like that. Service was fast and the lady was nice.
