Beautiful atmosphere. I ordered take out tacos, and they tasted okay, the meat was a bit dry. It's confusing at first when you come in on where you're supposed to go for take-out orders, but once you figure that out, everything else is smooth.

The service is very good but it seems that the kitchen does not have very good eating hygiene. I found a piece of glass when I was chewing my food.

The main complaint is the portion size. I paid 14 dollars including tip for a porkchop breakfast. It came with 3 corn tortillas, about 2 eggs worth of bottle eggs, equivalent portion of beans, and a single porkchop. It made me laugh at how little there was. Thickness was less than half an inch, and the cut was obviously the cheapest they could find. It had bones on both sides, and I've seen this cut at fiesta mart for $1.50 per pound. The food was pretty generic tasting as well. Tasted like canned salsa Verde with a little extra stuff, and as mentioned before, the eggs tasted of the premixed bottle variety. Disappointed with the experience and probably wont come again.

Yuck don't try the mole 🤢

Let me start off by saying the food was excellent. I loved it. However, I paid over $22 for a quesadilla plate with two drinks. That is insane, even in 2024. The portion sizes were small as well. I don’t even know if I got more than one tortilla. I would 100% be a regular at this place if their prices were reasonable. Instead, my wallet took a much bigger hit for a meal that was supposed to be a quick bite on my lunch break. The service was decent.

Bad customer service, it's hard to understand how this restaurant has these ratings when it doesn't deserve it.
I was waiting for more than 20 minutes to be attended to.

We have been here a few times and every time the food and service are great! Tacos and tortas are really good. Will continue to come for real mexican food.

I was making some home made fajitas among some other delicious things but I found that I didn’t have any rotel to make sone dip. So I called them and ordered a regular size chips and caso to go. And I ended up paying $14.61 and I could tell they wanted a tip even tho they were given me way more than I asked for and still wanted a tip which would of put me at $18 for the simple chips and caso I ordered. It was good, but it wasn’t $18 good. Needless to say I will never go back even tho I have wanted to try their food for a long time. Plus Los Flores is right around the corner and their food and prices are a lot better. Plus they treat you like family and I didn’t get that vibe at all there.

New to Houston… I’ve been in bed sick with bronchitis… Dying. I wanted some sopa de res and ordered from one other place but their sopa was tasteless. I, then, found this place and their sopa is sooo tasty and they’re so generous with their carne. I love that for me!!! lol
I’ve ordered like 3-4 days in a row now. Definitely my go to place for sopa from now on. Thanks guys.

I got the parillada 4 piece of beef fajita it was not fajita 4- piece of chicken and 4 Shrimp got 2 orders for $60 some the piece 1/2"x4" not big
